Santiago
A private guide takes you around Santiago starting at San Cristobal Hill where you'll get views over the city. From there you'll drive through Bellavista and the historic center, checking out landmarks and the financial district, then head to Las Condes. Santiago - Casablanca Valley - Valparaiso
Early morning departure to Valparaiso along Route 68, stopping through Casablanca Valley at Matetic Vineyards for a 2.5 hour tasting. Once in Valparaiso, you'll walk through Cerro Alegre's graffiti scenes and historic areas, then ride up the old funicular. Lunch at a local spot (you pay separately) happens before heading back to Santiago.

Santiago - Calama - San Pedro de Atacama
After breakfast you'll check out and transfer to Santiago airport, then fly to Calama. Once you reach your San Pedro de Atacama hotel, you have free time until 3 PM. In the late afternoon you'll head to Valle de la Luna to see the salt formations and sand dunes, finishing with sunset views from the Great Dune.

A full desert day starts early with a visit to Toconao and its distinctive liparite stone buildings. You'll continue to Laguna Chaxa in the Salar de Atacama to watch flamingos and other birds, then drive up to Lagunas Miscanti and Miniques at 4,300 meters. The day wraps up at Piedras Rojas with its red stones and the green-tinted Salar de Aguas Calientes.

Morning option to catch El Tatio Geysers starting at 4 AM if that interests you, or just take a relaxed day. Come evening, you'll head out for stargazing in the Atacama Desert, one of the best spots globally for seeing the night sky. Your guide leads a beginner's astronomy class and helps you view stars through telescopes and photograph them.
