  1. Day 1

    North Karelia

    You'll arrive at your guesthouse in North Karelia and get settled in for the week. Once you're comfortable in your space, there's a welcome dinner waiting with views of the peaceful winter surroundings. It's a nice way to start the trip and meet the area.

  2. Day 2

    North Karelia

    This morning kicks off your skiing with beginner ski school if that's your level, or you can join a 15 km ski tour if you've got more experience. After skiing, you'll grab lunch and have free time to try other outdoor activities on the property. Later, you'll head to the sauna to warm up, then enjoy dinner back at the guesthouse featuring local flavors.

  3. Day 3

    Vatimo

    You're heading out to Vatimo village where the trails are well-maintained and the terrain stays easy for most abilities. Runs range from 2.8 to 8 km, so beginners can go at their own pace while more experienced skiers take the longer options. Lunch happens at a lean-to shelter on the shore where there's a picnic by an open fire, and if you want, there's an optional swim in the open water. Back at the guesthouse, you'll relax in the sauna and have dinner.

    Laitala

    Laitala's ski track takes you through quiet landscapes where you choose your distance up to 15 km based on how you're feeling. There's a hut for your picnic lunch, then the evening is yours for sauna and hot tub time. Dinner features a special Lapland menu at the guesthouse.

    Koli National Park

Lunch comes first, then you can explore the village of Koli during free time. If downhill skiing interests you, equipment's available to rent on site for independent runs. Evening brings you back for sauna and dinner.

    You'll ski a 10 km route to Haikola House on flat, easy terrain that anyone can handle. Outside, there's a picnic with an open fire lunch. More experienced skiers have the option to ski back to Bomba village rather than getting a ride. After skiing, the Karelian spa in Bomba is your next stop before returning to the guesthouse for dinner.

    This day introduces you to a unique Finnish experience - sliding snowshoes through the forest. It works for all skill levels since it's a different technique than regular skiing. You'll have lunch at the guesthouse, then later head into the charming town of Nurmes where you've got free time to walk around and do some shopping. Back at the guesthouse, you'll relax in the sauna before the farewell dinner.
