Itinerary
- Day 1
Belgrade to Kladovo
This morning you'll leave Belgrade and head toward Golubac Fortress, a 15th-century stronghold sitting at the widest point of the Danube. The drive takes you through Djerdap National Park, where you'll stop at Lepenski Vir, an important prehistoric archaeological site that shows you how people lived thousands of years ago. After that, the route continues through the Djerdap Gorge with its dramatic river views. Around midday or early afternoon, you'll reach Captain Misha's Hill ethno complex for a break and some local food while taking in the panoramic views of the area. From there it's on to Kladovo for the evening.

- Day 2
Kladovo to Niš
You're heading to Felix Romuliana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Roman imperial complex that Emperor Galerius built in the 4th century. Walking through the ruins, you'll see marble temples and mosaics that have survived centuries. Later you'll travel to Niš, Serbia's third-largest city and the birthplace of Emperor Constantine the Great. Spending time wandering the charming streets here lets you experience how Eastern and Western cultures blend together in this historic place.

Landmarks Felix Romuliana Niš - Day 3
Niš to Belgrade
Starting early from Niš, you'll visit Manasija Monastery, a medieval structure founded by Despot Stefan Lazarevic with 600-year-old frescoes still visible inside its fortress walls. Next comes Resava Cave, one of Serbia's most beautiful caves featuring impressive stalactites and stalagmites to explore. You'll stop at Veliki Buk Waterfall for photos and some time to relax by the water. During lunch you'll have traditional food including fresh trout from a local fishpond at an ethno restaurant. From there the drive back to Belgrade takes place in the evening.
