Casablanca - Rabat
Start by checking out the Hassan II Mosque, a modern Islamic structure right on the Atlantic. From there, you'll head north to Rabat where you can walk through the Hassan Tower, see the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and wander the Kasbah of the Udayas with its blue-and-white streets and garden.

- Day 4
Chefchaouen

Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Fes
Head south through rolling hills and olive groves to Volubilis, where there are old Roman ruins with mosaics and monuments to see. After that, continue to Fes where you'll be staying two nights and getting ready to explore the medieval city.

Fes

Drive south toward the Sahara, going through the Ziz Valley with its ancient ksars and then up through cedar forests in the Middle Atlas. By evening you'll reach the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi and settle into your desert camp.

Merzouga
