  • L

    Lisa

    Asked on February 20th, 2026

My husband is not comfortable with much of Japanese food. During the tour will there be an opportunity for him to order something different?

    Meals
    • EuropamundoOperatorWritten February 2026

During this tour, 13 lunches or dinners are included in the following destinations: Seoul (3), Suwon, Damyang, Busan, Hiroshima, Matsuyama, Takamatsu, Mount Koya, Tsumago, Ikaho, and Tokyo.

These meals are carefully arranged as part of the cultural experience, but please don't worry — in most cases there are menu options available, and many venues can accommodate different tastes. Your tour guide will also be happy to assist if your husband prefers simpler dishes or non-Japanese options whenever possible.

Additionally, since several meals are not included, you will have plenty of free time to enjoy international cuisine such as Western, Italian, Chinese, Indian, or fast food, which are widely available in the cities visited.

Many travelers who are not accustomed to Japanese cuisine still enjoy the tour comfortably.

      TravelerWritten February 2026

Could you clarify the transport we would be on from place to place and within cities. Thanks.

    • EuropamundoOperatorWritten February 2026

      Transportation between destinations
Travel throughout the tour is organized and included, using a combination of comfortable private coaches, high-speed transport, and other local services depending on the route. This ensures smooth and efficient travel between cities without needing to arrange anything on your own.

      Special transport included
Your itinerary features several unique travel experiences, including:

      • A domestic flight from Busan to Fukuoka
      • A ferry crossing from Hiroshima to Matsuyama
      • A funicular/chairlift in the DMZ area and Matsuyama Castle
      • A boat trip on Lake Kawaguchiko (Mount Fuji area)

      Within cities
Transportation during sightseeing is provided mainly by private coach, along with local transport when needed (for example metro in Seoul). All logistics are handled for you, and your English-speaking guide accompanies the group throughout the journey.

      Additional included services
The tour also includes arrival airport transfer, hotel accommodation with daily breakfast, and 13 lunches or dinners across Korea and Japan.

Overall, this tour is fully organized so you can focus on enjoying the experience rather than planning transportation.
