Itinerary
- Day 1
Madrid
You'll touch down at Madrid airport and get transferred to your hotel. After you check in and look over the welcome meeting details at reception, the rest of the day is yours to do what you want. Come evening, you'll head over to Plaza Mayor and La Latina, where Madrid's nightlife and tapas scene really come alive. Pick whichever restaurant appeals to you and settle in for dinner.

- Day 2
Madrid
This morning brings a full tour of central Madrid, hitting Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Colón, and Plaza Mayor. Then you'll move on to Retiro Park to walk around the lake and check out Palacio de Cristal. Your ticket to Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, where Real Madrid plays, is already included. The afternoon is free for whatever you'd like, and you'll get transferred back to the hotel in the evening.

- Day 3
Madrid - Puerto Lápice - Granada
You'll leave Madrid early and head south through La Mancha, stopping in Puerto Lápice, a small Manchego village with connections to Don Quixote. The route takes you through Despeñaperos into Andalusia. Lunch is included once you reach Granada. If you picked the Alhambra option, an afternoon tour with a local guide shows you the palace and the beautiful Generalife Gardens.

- Day 4
Granada - Nerja - Málaga - Ronda - Seville
The Sierra Nevada mountains fade behind as you travel along the Mediterranean coast toward the Tropical Coast, where the climate stays mild and tropical fruits grow. You'll stop in Nerja, a coastal town known for its dramatic cliffs. From there, continue to Málaga, the Costa del Sol's main city, where lunch and a walk through the historic center are on the schedule. Later, you'll head inland into the Andalusian sierras toward Ronda, a white-washed town perched above a striking gorge. You'll arrive in Seville by late afternoon with dinner at your hotel.

- Day 5
Seville - Zaragoza
Start with a panoramic tour of Seville covering the cathedral and the famous Giralda tower, the Guadalquivir River's banks, and the neighborhoods of Santa Cruz and Triana. After that, you'll take a boat ride on the Guadalquivir River. In the afternoon, you're transferred to the train station for a 4:30 p.m. departure on a high-speed train heading 850 km to Zaragoza, a journey that takes about four hours. When you arrive, a transfer takes you to your hotel. Note that no Europamundo guide travels with you on this train.

Your morning in Zaragoza is free to wander the historic city center and Plaza del Pilar, where the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar and La Seo Cathedral sit. You can also stroll through the old town or see the Ebro River. After lunch, you'll move into Catalonia and stop at Poblet Monastery, one of Europe's best-preserved medieval monasteries with admission included. You'll reach Barcelona by late afternoon.

The afternoon is yours to explore on your own before heading back to your hotel.
