Venice
You'll arrive at Venice Airport or Train Station where someone will meet you and take you to your hotel to check in. The rest of the day is open, so you can either rest at your hotel or wander around and get a feel for Venice on your own.

- Day 2
Venice
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll join a guided walking tour through Venice's streets and squares. You'll see St. Mark's Basilica in St. Mark's Square, then take a gondola ride through the canals. In the afternoon, head to Murano to watch glassblowers work their craft, then go to Burano to check out the colorful houses and traditional lacework shops.

Venice to Florence
Following breakfast, check out and get to Venice train station for the scenic train ride to Florence. The journey takes you through Italian countryside with nice views. Once you arrive in Florence, you'll check into your hotel. The afternoon and evening are free to explore on your own. A rooftop café at Grand Hotel Cavour gives you views of Brunelleschi's Dome and works well for coffee or a light bite.

Florence

Florence to Rome

Rome
Following breakfast at your hotel, you'll take a Rome golf cart tour through the city's historic streets. You'll see the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Pantheon without having to walk long distances. Along the way you can stop for photos and take in Rome's historic character.

Rome to Salerno (Cruise Embarkation)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and head to Rome port to board your cruise ship. You'll settle into your cabin and prepare to visit a different destination almost every day. The ship heads toward the Mediterranean with stops planned for Salerno on the Amalfi Coast, medieval towns near Messina, and Villefranche-sur-Mer on the French Riviera.

You have a relaxed day on the cruise ship enjoying Mediterranean views. The ship is docked in Salerno, a historic city on the southeastern edge of the Amalfi Coast. You can explore the city, which was once home to ancient settlements and Medieval Europe's first medical school.

Pisa (At Cruise)
As you cruise toward the Tuscan region, you have time to relax on the ship. The cruise is heading toward ports near Pisa and Florence, both rich in art and history. Florence's main attractions are in the historic center, which works well for a walking tour to see Santa Croce, Piazza del Duomo, and Michelangelo's David.

Nice & Monaco (At Cruise - French Riviera)
You'll spend another day cruising with views of Nice and Monaco on the horizon. The ship stops at Villefranche-sur-Mer, located about 6 km east of Nice on the French Riviera. You can walk along the Old Harbour for Mediterranean views, visit Saint Michael's Church with its 18th-century organ, relax on local beaches, or hike up to Fort du Mont Alban for panoramic views. The atmospheric Rue Obscure and the prehistoric Grotte du Lazaret are also worth exploring.

Barcelona

Barcelona to Seville

Seville
