Itinerary
- Day 1
Windhoek
You'll arrive at Windhoek International Airport by 9:35 am and get picked up around 10:30 am. From there, head out through Okahandja and Otjiwarongo toward Tsumeb, covering roughly 475 km. This is a long drive but necessary to reach the northern regions. Check in at Mines Hotel for the night.

Etosha National Park
Etosha National Park is where things get exciting. You'll drive through the park from east to west, stopping at waterholes to look for elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, giraffes, and zebras among the 114 mammal species found here. The park also hosts over 340 bird species if you're into birding. By evening, you'll reach your lodge south of Andersson Gate in Outjo.

- Day 3
Etosha National Park
Start early to catch the best game viewing during morning hours when animals are most active. You might spot zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, oryxes, springboks, and kudus at various waterholes. The vegetation changes throughout the park and offers different wildlife viewing opportunities. Return to the lodge in Outjo by afternoon.

Omaruru
A shorter drive takes you to the Erongo region with its varied landscapes and historical sites. Omaruru has colonial history worth checking out, with charming alleyways, a historic church, and small art galleries scattered around town. In the afternoon, visit a San Living Museum and see rock paintings left by the San people in the Erongo Mountains.

- Day 5
Omaruru - Swakopmund
Head toward the Atlantic coast and stop at Spitzkoppe, a granite mountain formation rising from the desert that locals call the 'Matterhorn of Namibia.' Take a guided tour to Bushman's Paradise to find San drawings in the rocks. Continue on to Swakopmund where the hot desert meets cold ocean. Explore colonial houses, restaurants, the beach promenade, and pedestrian areas. The rest of the day is yours to relax.

Swakopmund
Spend your time in Swakopmund exploring at your own pace. Walk along the sea, grab coffee at local cafés, get ice cream, or browse souvenir shops. If you want more action, optional excursions include desert tours with lunar landscape visits, sandboarding, quad biking, kayaking, catamaran trips in Walvis Bay, or scenic flights over the coast.

Swakopmund - Hammerstein
Leave the coast behind and cross an endless desert plain, then pass through the odd Kuiseb Canyon. Stop briefly in Solitaire, a small village at the edge of Namib Naukluft National Park. You'll reach your lodge at the foot of Tsaris Pass by afternoon with time for a swim, hike, or optional nature drive. The sunset here paints the mountains in shades of blue.

Sossusvlei - Sesriem Canyon
Depart very early for dawn coffee before driving to Sossusvlei, where you'll see red dunes, white clay pans, and blue sky in one striking landscape. Visit Deadvlei to see weathered trees standing against the red dunes. Then check out Sesriem Canyon, carved by the Tsauchab River millions of years ago with depths around 30 meters. Back at the lodge, cool off in the pool or have sunset drinks.

Head toward the edge of the Kalahari. In the afternoon, take time to observe the rugged Namibian landscape and watch for game around a nearby waterhole. Stay the night at Africa Safari Lodge.

Kalahari to Windhoek
After breakfast, return to Windhoek for roughly 480 km. You'll end at your hotel in Windhoek or head to the airport, with your departure scheduled after 7 pm.
