Paris to Loire Valley
You'll head south into the Loire Valley, starting with Blois and its castle before moving on to Tours for lunch along the river. After that, you'll see Château de Villandry and spend time walking through its gardens. The day wraps up in Amboise, a medieval town right on the water where you'll settle in for the evening.

- Day 2
Loire Valley to Limoges
This morning you'll walk around Amboise and visit Château du Clos Lucé, where Leonardo da Vinci lived at the end of his life. From there, you'll head to Château de Chenonceau before moving on to see Chambord, the largest castle in the area. Later you'll travel to Limoges, famous for its porcelain production, and check out Saint Etienne Cathedral before the day ends.

Limoges to Rocamadour
You're heading into the Dordogne region to see small villages and natural landscapes. The Lascaux museum and cave replica give you insight into prehistoric artwork in the area. After that, you'll spend time in Sarlat, a UNESCO World Heritage town with Renaissance architecture that's perfect for grabbing lunch and walking around. Later in the afternoon, you'll visit Beynac castle overlooking the river, then finish the day in Rocamadour, a village built into a cliff with a significant sanctuary.

- Day 4
Rocamadour to Bordeaux
Starting out, you'll take a boat ride 75 meters below ground on the river at Padirac Chasm. Next, you'll travel to Collonges-la-Rouge, a red-stone village on the Way of St. James. After lunch, you're heading to Saint-Emilion in the Bordeaux wine region for a casual walk through town, and then you'll continue on to Bordeaux, arriving as evening comes around.

Bordeaux to Paris
You'll spend the day in Bordeaux, a UNESCO World Heritage city, starting with the Water Mirror and the old town's pedestrian streets and 11th-century cathedral. You'll have free time to walk along the Garonne River and check out the restaurants on the banks. After lunch, you'll board a high-speed train for the 500 km trip to Paris, getting there in the evening.
