Paris
You'll get transferred to your hotel and have the rest of the day to get settled in. Stop by the hotel reception in the afternoon to grab any tour information you need.

Paris
A guided tour takes you through Paris with a panoramic overview of the city. From there, you'll head to Montmartre to walk around the street art scene and check out local restaurants before grabbing lunch. The afternoon is yours to do what you want, though the Louvre is there if you're interested. An optional evening variety show is available if you want to get out again.

Paris
You're transferred out to the Palace of Versailles to explore the grand building and its expansive gardens. The afternoon brings you back to Paris with free time to spend however you like. Your guide can suggest options like a boat trip on the Seine or a wander through the Latin Quarter if you want ideas.

- Day 4

Heading out early toward Normandy, you'll stop at Monet's House and gardens in Giverny to see the Impressionist art history up close. After that, you continue to Rouen where you can walk the medieval streets and see the cathedral before lunch. Later you arrive at Arromanches to spend time at the D-Day beaches reflecting on WWII history, then settle into Caen for leisure time in the town center.

Then it's on to Saint-Malo to see the impressive fortified walls before having lunch. In the afternoon you'll head to the charming village of Dinan for a crepe and drink, then arrive in Rennes, Brittany's capital, where you can see the impressive historic center.

The afternoon takes you to Château de Villandry with its nice gardens before you end up in Amboise, a city known for its medieval charm. Dinner is included tonight.

This morning starts with a stroll through Amboise and a visit to Château du Clos Lucé, where Leonardo da Vinci spent his final years. Then you'll check out Château de Chenonceau, which is built like a bridge over the river. After that, you head to Chambord, the Loire Valley's largest castle. You'll end the day in Limoges, famous for its porcelain, with suggestions to visit the historic center and Saint Etienne Cathedral.

You're traveling to the Dordogne region to visit Lascaux and explore the museum with the cave replica containing prehistoric paintings. Later you'll see the medieval castle in Beynac overlooking the river, and the day ends in Rocamadour, a medieval village built into a cliff with an important sanctuary. Dinner is included.

You'll visit Padirac Chasm and take a boat ride 75 meters underground on the river. Next you head to Collonges-la-Rouge, a red-stone village on the Way of St. James. After lunch, you continue to Saint-Emilion in the Bordeaux wine region for a leisurely stroll, then arrive in Bordeaux by evening.

You have free time along the Garonne River banks with restaurant options, or you can visit the Cité du Vin museum about wine history. Continuing to Narbonne, you'll have free time in its historic Occitan old town. You arrive in Marseille, France's second-largest city, in the late afternoon and can take a stroll through the vibrant Vieux-Port (Old Port) with its bustling restaurants.

The day ends in Lyon where you can walk through the World Heritage old town and take the cable car to Notre-Dame de Fourvière basilica for panoramic views of the city.

The day ends in Dijon, Burgundy's capital, known for lively streets and medieval and Renaissance buildings like the Palace of the Dukes.

From there you continue to Vézelay, one of France's most beautiful villages with its immense basilica that's a starting point of the Way of St. James pilgrimage. After lunch you explore the village, then head back to Paris, arriving in the evening.
