- Day 1
Sofia
You'll get picked up from the airport and head to your hotel to drop off your bags. Around 3:00 p.m., there's a city tour where you'll see Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Russian Church, and the Mosque, plus walk through Sofia's main squares and check out the Stalinist architecture. After that, the rest of the day is open for you to wander around on your own.

Later you'll continue to Plovdiv, one of Europe's oldest cities, where you'll grab lunch and see the Roman Amphitheatre, the Old Pharmacy, and the Armenian House.

You're traveling through the Balkan Mountains to visit the Rose Valley and Kazanlak to see the Thracian Tomb replica and learn about rose products. From there, you'll stop at the Shipka Memorial Church from the Russo-Turkish War, then walk through Etar, a charming ethnographic village. After lunch, there's Arbanasi, an ancient trading city with fortress-like houses and the Nativity Church. You'll finish the evening in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria's former capital with its medieval center.

Today you're traveling to Transylvania, crossing through the Carpathian Mountains with nice scenery and forests. In Sinaia, you'll stroll through the gardens at Peles and Pelisor Castles. Next comes Bran Fortress, the 14th-century castle famous for its Dracula connection. After lunch, you'll continue to Sighisoara, a walled medieval city and UNESCO site. The evening finishes with dinner at Count Dracula's restaurant in the house where Vlad the Impaler was born.

Then you're heading to Sibiu, an important economic and cultural center that was once Transylvania's capital, where you'll walk through the narrow streets and squares before grabbing lunch. In the afternoon, there's Hunedoara Castle, considered Romania's most beautiful. The day ends in Timisoara with time to see the city's central squares.

Next is Studenica Monastery, Serbia's largest monastery in the mountains, founded in 1190 with wood and plaster buildings and Byzantine frescoes inside. After lunch, you'll head to Kraljevo, a charming town in central Serbia surrounded by mountains, known for its main square with a monument to Serbian warriors and its medieval fortress.

Kraljevo - Ravanica - Oplenac - Belgrade
You're traveling to Ravanica to see its monastery and impressive five-domed church. After that, you'll continue to Topola to discover its history and visit St. George's Church on Oplenac Hill, founded by King Peter I of Yugoslavia. This church serves as the mausoleum of the Serbian and Yugoslav royal house and Yugoslavia until 1945. Later you'll return to Belgrade.
