Itinerary
- Day 1
Porto
You'll arrive in Porto and check into your hotel in the city center. At 6pm, head to the welcome briefing where you'll meet the group and learn what's coming up during the week. If you get there early enough, take a walk through Porto's historic UNESCO-listed center to get your bearings. After that, the evening is yours to wander around and grab dinner wherever looks good.

- Day 2
Afife to Caminha
After breakfast, head north to Viana do Castelo and spend some time walking through the historic centre on your own. Then continue to Afife Village where your coastal walking adventure starts. You'll walk 13 kilometres along the Atlantic coastline through wild landscapes, with a lunch break in Praia Ancora (you'll need to arrange your own meal). The walk finishes in Caminha at the mouth of the River Mino, and from there you'll transfer to O Porrino in Spain for your first night.

- Day 3
O Porrino to Redondela
Your point-to-point hotel walking experience starts now. Each day your main luggage gets transferred ahead while you walk from hotel to hotel. Today you'll follow the Camino Portugues inland through beautiful Galician countryside to Redondela, a nice waterfront town on Vigo's impressive bay. The afternoon is free to wander the charming streets and waterfront at your own pace.

- Day 4
Redondela to Pontevedra
You'll continue along the Camino Portugues to Pontevedra, the historic capital of Galicia's province. Your route has views of the Vigo estuary and crosses the Medieval Ponte Sampaio Bridge, built on Roman foundations and the site of a historic 1809 battle during Spain's War of Independence. Once there, you can explore Pontevedra's well-preserved old town with its pedestrianised streets, granite arcades, hidden plazas, and Galician Gothic architecture.

Caldas de Reis
Today you'll walk deeper into Galicia's green interior toward Caldas de Reis, a town known for its natural hot springs that date back to Roman times. The 22-kilometre route winds through eucalyptus forests and traditional farming communities, passing ancient stone bridges with gentle hills along the way. The walk takes about five hours. When you arrive, there's time to relax in the town's thermal baths after your day on the trail.

Padró
You'll walk to Padron, a place of religious significance where Saint James' remains are said to have come ashore, drawing pilgrims from across Europe. The town also has literary importance as the home of Rosalia de Castro, Galicia's celebrated 19th-century writer. From there, the route takes you through typical Galician countryside with small farms, ancient churches, and stone-built villages. Today's 19-kilometre walk builds excitement for tomorrow's final stretch to Santiago de Compostela.

- Day 7
Santiago de Compostela
Today brings your Camino journey to completion with the final and longest walk to Santiago de Compostela. The route takes you through the suburbs and into Santiago's historic centre, where the cathedral spires come into view. This is both the longest and most challenging walk of the week. Afterward, the afternoon is free so you can explore the old town, visit the cathedral, or attend the traditional Pilgrims' Mass if you wish.

Your tour ends after breakfast at the hotel. There are no planned activities, so you're free to leave whenever suits your travel plans. If your flight departs later in the day, the hotel can store your luggage.
