- Day 2
Rabat - Chefchaouen
Start the morning at Hassan II Mosque perched on the Atlantic coast. After that, head to Rabat to see Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Later you'll drive to Chefchaouen, the blue city nestled in the Rif Mountains, where you'll walk through the distinctive blue streets and check out the local markets.

Volubilis - Meknes - Fes
After breakfast, travel to Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site with some of Morocco's best Roman ruins still standing. Then continue to Meknes to see the impressive Bab Mansour Gate and look around the medina. By evening you'll arrive in Fes, Morocco's oldest imperial city.

- Day 4
Fes
This morning you'll start with a guided walk through Fes el-Bali, the old walled medina that's filled with narrow streets and shops. You'll head to the Attarine Madrasa first, then move on to the University of Al-Qarawiyyin, which has been teaching students for over a thousand years. After that, you'll wander through Nejjarine Square where locals gather and shop. The leather tanneries are next on the list, and you can watch how the work happens in those big vats the traditional way. As you continue, you'll pass through artisan quarters where potters, woodworkers, and textile makers are busy at their crafts using methods passed down for centuries. Later in the afternoon, you'll climb up to the South Tower for views across the whole medina, and then have some free time to rest before evening.

- Day 5
Middle Atlas - Merzouga
Drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop in Ifrane, often called Morocco's 'Little Switzerland'. Pass through cedar forests where Barbary macaques live and continue through the Ziz Valley before reaching Merzouga. At sunset you'll ride a camel across the Sahara, then have dinner and spend the night stargazing at your desert camp.

Get up early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After eating, head to Todra Gorge where massive cliffs rise above a clear river. Walk through the canyon, then continue to the Dades Valley with its oases, kasbahs, and unusual rock formations to explore.

Travel along the scenic Route of a Thousand Kasbahs toward Ouarzazate and visit the Atlas Film Studios. Then go to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed fortified village with incredible history. Drive through the High Atlas Mountains passing Berber villages before arriving in Marrakech by evening.

The afternoon is yours to explore and shop however you'd like.
