Itinerary
- Day 1
Cortina
You'll arrive at your hotel in Cortina and get settled in for the week ahead. Take time to unpack, familiarize yourself with the area, and rest up before the hiking starts tomorrow. The town has restaurants and shops if you want to grab dinner and explore the local scene.



- Day 2
Cortina
Start at Passo Falzarego and hike the Dolomites High Route 1, heading toward Rifugio Averau and Passo Giao. From there you'll reach the distinctive Cinque Torri peaks, where you get panoramic views across the entire Dolomites landscape. It's a full day on the trail with serious elevation and exposure.

- Day 3
Cortina
A morning transfer takes you to Rifugio Ra Stua to start the day's hike. You'll trek via Seekofelhutte and the Ofenscharte ridge, following the Dolomites High Trail 1 as you descend toward Lake Braies. The crystal-clear water makes for a rewarding finish after a long day on the ridge.

- Day 4
Cortina
Today you'll hike through Prato Piazza, one of the region's most popular hiking areas. The route goes via Strudelkopf and through Helltal valley, and you get views of Hohe Gaisl, Three Peaks, Tofana, and Monte Cristallo from various points. Lots of foot traffic here but the scenery justifies it.

Cortina
You'll cross the Rienzboden plateau and work your way through Rienz Valley toward the Three Peaks, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the iconic symbol of the Dolomites. After reaching Dreizinnehutte, the trail continues below Paternkofel as you descend into Fischleintal Valley for the evening.

Cortina
This circular hike takes you through forests and meadows toward the rustic Klammbachalm hut, which serves traditional South Tyrolean food. If you want a bigger challenge, there's an optional variant along the Carnic High Route that crosses back and forth between Italy and Austria multiple times throughout the day.

Cortina
You'll transfer to Ospitale in the morning and then hike through Val Padeon with great views of the surrounding peaks. The route drops down to Rio Gere and follows the famous Dolomites trail toward Faloria. A cable car brings you down to Cortina by afternoon, ending your week of hiking.
