Mayo to McClusky Lake
You'll travel by maxivan to the water airport in Mayo, then hop on a seaplane for roughly an hour flight to McClusky Lake on the upper Wind River. Once you land, you'll get settled into your tent camp for the night and start adjusting to life in the backcountry.

- Days 3 - 12
Wind River Canoe Tour
Your canoe expedition begins down the Wind River, taking you through the Wernecke Mountains over the next 10 days. You'll paddle through gorges and valleys with turquoise waters, handle easy rapids, and camp at mountain base camps each night. Between paddling days, there's time for hiking into the surrounding mountains where you might see Dall sheep, wolves, and caribou.

Peel River to Mayo
After reaching the confluence where the Snake River meets the Peel River, you'll board a seaplane for the flight back to Mayo, taking about 1.5 hours. From there, you'll check into your hotel for the night and rest up after your time on the water.

Mayo to Whitehorse
A maxivan transfers you from Mayo back to Whitehorse, traveling along the scenic Silver Highway and Klondike Highway. You'll check into your Whitehorse hotel and have the evening to settle in.
