Itinerary
- Day 1
Sorong
You'll arrive in Sorong and have time to check out the local markets if you get in early, or learn about the fishing trade in the area. The Sapta Ratna Pagoda is also worth a visit before things get going. At 6 pm, you'll meet your trip leader and other travelers, and they'll point you toward some good local restaurants for dinner with the group.

Sorong to Waisai
After boarding your Phinisi-style sailboat in Sorong, you'll cruise toward Waisai on Waigeo Island. There's a possible stop at Saonek Island if time works out, where you can swim or walk the sandy shore. Once settled in your cabin, the onboard chef will prepare Indonesian food for dinner as you spend your first night aboard.

- Day 3
Yenbuba Village
You have the option to join a birdwatching tour to look for rare birds of paradise early on. From there, head to Mioskon Island near the Dampier Strait for snorkeling with reef sharks and turtles. Later, you'll visit Yenbuba Village, snorkel off the jetty among coral and fish, walk through the village, and get a sense of how people live there.

Pianemo Viewpoint
The Fam Island Group's lagoons are on the agenda, and you can snorkel, kayak, or just relax in the clear water depending on what appeals to you. In the afternoon, hike up to Pianemo Viewpoint, which gives you sweeping views across limestone islets and is one of the area's most recognizable spots.

Arborek Village
Start with snorkeling at Yangefo, a less-visited spot with mangrove forests, coral, and clear water where you'll likely see sea turtles, fish, and stingrays. When afternoon comes, you'll head to Arborek Village, a small island community known for how welcoming locals are. You can snorkel off the jetty or walk through to look at handmade items people sell.

Sawandarek

Sorong
Before heading back to Sorong, you'll stop at the Blue River, a freshwater stream in the rainforest on Waigeo Island that has striking blue-green water. It's a good spot to cool off with a swim or take a short walk through the jungle before the cruise back begins.

Sorong
You'll have breakfast onboard one last time, then disembark in Sorong around midday. A transfer takes you from the port to the airport or a hotel in town. If you're flying out today, hold off booking your flight until after 3 pm to avoid conflicts with the transfer timing.
