Marrakech
Your driver picks you up at Marrakech airport and takes you to your riad in the medina. You'll have the rest of the day to wander around Jemaa El Fna Square and get a feel for the city's energy and street life.

Marrakech to Casablanca

Casablanca - Rabat - Chefchaouen
Following breakfast, you'll drive along the coast to Rabat, one of Morocco's four imperial cities and the country's political capital. After lunch, you'll travel north through Ouazzane to reach Chefchaouen, known for its blue and white painted buildings and winding alleyways in the Rif mountains.

- Day 4
Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes
You'll have a short morning to walk around Chefchaouen before driving to Fez. Along the way, you'll stop at the ancient site of Volubilis, then visit Meknes to see the Bab Mansour Gate and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. After lunch, a guide takes you through Fez's medieval medina, showing you madrasas, the Nejjarine fountain, Moulay Idriss mausoleum, the Karaouine mosque, and Fès Jdid (New Fès).

Fes
This morning you'll have a half-day guided tour of Fez focusing on its medieval Jewish heritage. You'll visit the Mellah and its synagogue, check out Al Quaraouiyine University (the world's oldest university), and walk through the medina past the Bou Anania medersa, Nejjarine fountain, and Moulay Idriss mausoleum. The narrow streets are lined with vendors selling dates, fish, spices, copper work, and instruments.

Fes to Merzouga
Early morning departure from your riad heading to Merzouga takes you through the Middle Atlas Mountains. You'll stop in Ifrane (sometimes called the Swiss of Africa), visit Azrou's cedar forests to see monkeys, and have lunch in Midelt. The route continues through the scenic Ziz valley with views of palm groves before you reach the Merzouga dunes. You'll switch from your vehicle to a camel ride across Erg Chebbi to a Berber camp, where you can try sand dune boarding. Dinner at camp is followed by sitting around the fire with traditional Berber music.

You'll wake early to catch the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, you'll head back to Merzouga village and continue toward Boumalne Dades by passing through Rissani (known for its fossil factories) and Tinghir. A photo stop near Tinghir at the palm oasis comes before visiting Todra Gorge, where you'll walk along the gorge walls and have lunch. The day ends as you drive through the Dades valley village.

Dades Valley - Skoura - Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Atlas Mountains - Marrakech
You'll start with breakfast, then drive through the Valley of the Roses toward Skoura where the landscape shifts to rolling hills and kasbahs. From there, continue on to Ouarzazate and spend time at Atlas Studios, the film complex where you can see sets and learn about Morocco's film history. After that, you'll head to the UNESCO-listed Ksar of Ait Benhaddou, the fortified village that's been used as a filming location for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. The clay-built structures are quite something to walk through, and you'll have time to wander the narrow streets. Later, you'll cross the Tizi-N-Tichka pass through the High Atlas mountains, stopping along the way for photos of the scenery. Finally, transfer to your hotel or airport in Marrakech as the day winds down.
