Itinerary
- Day 1
Vientiane
You'll touch down in Vientiane and head to your hotel, where check-in starts at 14:00. This gives you the afternoon and evening to settle in or take a casual walk around the capital at your own pace.

- Day 2
Vientiane to Vang Vieng
Meet your guide at 8:00am to walk through Vientiane's main temples like Wat Sisaket and Wat Phra Keo, then head to Pha That Louang. You'll climb Patuxay Monument for views across the city. After lunch, travel by private vehicle to Vang Vieng. Later, take a short hike to catch the sunset over the karst landscape.

Vang Vieng
Start with a tuk-tuk ride to the Nam Song River for a boat trip to a Khmu village. Watch a blacksmith work, try forging yourself, and share lunch with a local family learning about their culture. See how they make Lao Hai rice wine, then hike through rice paddies to a cave. You'll return to Vang Vieng by evening.

Head to the station for a high-speed train to Luang Prabang. Your guide meets you on arrival. Spend the day exploring the Royal Palace (now National Museum), Heuan Chan Heritage House, and Vat Xieng Thong temple. In the afternoon, check out Ock Pop Tok to see silk weaving, natural dyeing, batik, and bamboo techniques in action.

Later, drive to Ban Nong Heo for a 4km gentle hike (1.5 hours) to Ban Thapene and Kuang Si Waterfalls. See traditional sa paper production in a village. An optional gastronomic walking tour sampling street food is available this evening.

Have an aperitif on the riverbank sampling local specialities, then lunch with traditional Lao dishes and coffee. Take a 30-minute forest walk to Pak Ou caves with thousands of Buddha statues, then cruise back to Luang Prabang (two hours by boat).

Angkor
Drive along tree-lined roads to Angkor Thom to explore Bayon Temple with its famous stone faces and 54 towers. Also see the Baphuon temple mountain and walk the Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. The afternoon focuses on Angkor Wat and Ta Prohm where vines wrap around stone structures. You'll have a free evening with three optional dining choices.

- Day 9
Phnom Kulen National Park
Depart at 7:00am for Phnom Kulen, the largest forested area in the province. A local ranger leads you through the jungle to see the River of a Thousand Lingas with sacred carvings and the golden Reclining Buddha at Preah Ang Thom. Hike narrow forest trails to Phnom Kulen Waterfall for a swim, grab lunch nearby, then return to Siem Reap.

Head to Kompong Khleang village and board a local boat captained by a villager for a leisurely cruise through Tonle Sap Lake waterways. You'll pass floating villages and stilt houses navigating canals into the open lake. During the dry season, take a short walk to meet villagers. Return to Siem Reap by early afternoon, leaving the rest of your day free with optional activities available.

Your tour finishes today after breakfast and checking out. Get yourself to the airport at your own pace. If you have time, an optional visit to Kulen Elephant Forest lets you walk alongside retired elephants and learn about their personalities from experienced guides.
