- Day 1
San José
You'll arrive in San José at your own pace, so if you get there early there's time to walk around the city or try out some coffee experiences in the Central Valley. Once everyone's settled, you'll head to a welcome meeting where you can meet your CEO and the rest of the travel group. After that, there's an optional group dinner if you want to get to know people right away.

- Day 2
San José to Puerto Viejo de Talamanca
Take a local bus early from San José heading toward Puerto Viejo de Talamanca on the Caribbean coast, which takes a few hours. When you arrive, your CEO will lead an orientation walk through the village to get your bearings. You'll have the rest of the day to explore this laid-back beach town with its 14km of white and black sand beaches and tropical vegetation all around.

- Day 3
Puerto Viejo de Talamanca
Grab a bike and ride out to the beach with your CEO. If you're interested in surfing, you can give it a try. The day includes stops at Cocles, Punta Uva, and possibly Manzanillo beaches where you'll have chances to swim, grab drinks, and spot wildlife. Back at the hostel later, you can relax in a hammock or have coffee, and there's reggae and calypso dancing in the evening if you want to join.

- Day 4
Puerto Viejo de Talamanca to Bocas del Toro
Today you'll cross into Panama, traveling by bus, private vehicle, and water taxi to reach the Bocas del Toro archipelago. Your CEO leads a casual stroll through town where you'll check out the main spots and learn about Afro-Caribbean culture here. After that you can wander around on your own and take in the calypso, reggae, and local guari-guari language throughout the streets.

Bocas del Toro
This is a full free day in Bocas del Toro, so you get to decide what happens. You could try paddle boarding, kayaking, or snorkelling during the day. If you're up for it, there's a bioluminescence tour in the evening. Or you might just swim, sunbathe, kick back in a hammock, and people watch from somewhere local instead.

Bocas del Toro
Head out to Starfish Beach where hundreds of starfish are sitting in the shallow waters of an isolated cove. You can swim in the calm waters and take in the scenery. Back at the hostel by afternoon, you'll have free time to relax, grab a meal, read, or try any optional activities. There's an optional group dinner tonight if you want to walk there with everyone.

Bocas del Toro to Boquete
Travel back toward mainland Panama and the mountain town of Boquete. Along the way, you'll stop at a local indigenous Ngäbe community to learn about chocolate production and what cacao means culturally to the people here. You'll roll into Boquete in the evening to get settled, and there's optional dinner available with the group at a local spot.

Boquete
You have a full free day to explore Boquete's wooded valley surrounded by mountains. There's a lot to choose from here: trails to lost waterfalls, hiking up to Baru Volcano, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, coffee plantation tours, or walking through the cloud forest. There's an optional group dinner at a nearby restaurant in the evening if you want to wind down together.

Boquete to Valle de Antón
Today you're traveling from Boquete to Valle de Antón, which sits inside the crater of an inactive volcano. This quaint town has lush, green, fertile land and tons of biodiversity. You'll arrive in the late afternoon, get settled at the hostel, and there's optional dinner with the group to celebrate making it through a solid travel day.

Landmarks Valle de Antón - Day 11
Valle de Antón
You've got a full free day in Valle de Antón to do whatever interests you. Try hiking, ziplining, cycling, or soaking in hot springs. The challenging 30km Ruta de la Caldera is an option, or you can do sections like El Gaital which sits over 1,000 metres above sea level. Rent bikes to explore the town or visit Pozos Termales hot springs instead. Hang out with your travel friends and keep an eye out for wildlife. Optional group dinner happens in the evening.

Valle de Antón to Panama City
Sleep in if you want to, then head to the public bus stop for the ride to Panama City. You'll arrive in the late afternoon and join your CEO for an orientation walk through Casco Viejo, Plaza de la Independencia, and Panama Cathedral. After that you have free time to explore more, bike along the Amador Causeway, or just relax at your accommodation. This is a good night to check out Panama City's nightlife if that's your thing.

Panama City
You have a full free day to explore Panama City however you like. Walk along the Bay of Panama, visit the Metropolitan Natural Park's nature sanctuary in the city center, or set up a visit to the iconic Panama Canal which is about an hour away. Try great food, check out archaeological sites, and walk through colonial history areas. You're heading to the San Blas Islands tomorrow so enjoy your last day in the city.

Panama City to San Blas Islands
Head out early to catch the ferry to the San Blas Islands, a largely untouched archipelago with 365 islands (only 50 inhabited) governed by the Guna indigenous community. You'll visit Carti community and meet the chief at the Congress House. Then travel by boat to Asseryaladub Island for beach time and snorkelling. Dinner's included with stories about Guna culture.

San Blas Islands
After breakfast you'll visit a natural pool to see starfish beneath the water. Travel to another island for a change of pace, relax on the beach, play games in the water with your travel group, and go snorkelling. Head back to Asseryaladub Island afterward for more free time to chill in the common area and just take it easy.

Landmarks Asseryaladub Island - Day 16
San Blas Islands
Learn about Guna traditions in the morning with a boat trip to Aguadub Community. You'll have a cultural session and presentation about the art of making Molas, those traditional textiles made from layered colored fabric, plus beadwork and ancestral medicine from a local healer. Return to Asseryaladub with a deeper appreciation for the community. Spend the afternoon swimming, snorkelling, or playing beach volleyball.

San Blas Islands to Panama City
Take a leisurely morning on the island soaking in the connection you've made here. Board the boat back to Puerto Carti and travel by private vehicle back to Panama City. You'll have free time to explore the city's energy and dance the night away with your travel friends at a rooftop bar or wherever the evening takes you.

Panama City
