You'll land at Juan Santamaria International Airport where a GWA representative will meet you and set up your private transfer to the Arenal Volcano area. Get settled at your hotel for the rest of the evening.

Arenal Volcano
Join a half-day birdwatching tour with a naturalist guide in the Arenal Volcano area. You'll look for toucans, parrots, orioles, tanagers, and parakeets, and if you're an experienced birder, you might spot rarer species like the King Flycatcher and Rufous-backed Woodpecker.

- Day 3
Arenal to Monteverde
Get picked up from your hotel and head to Lake Arenal Dam to board a covered boat for a scenic 45-minute cruise with views of the volcano and Tilar\u00e1n Mountain Range. After the cruise, you'll drive up a steep road for about 1.5 hours through lush valleys before arriving at your hotel in Monteverde.

Monteverde

Monteverde to Tarcoles
After breakfast, you'll get a private transfer to the Tarcoles area in the Central Pacific, positioned between Jaco Beach and Manuel Antonio National Park. The Tarcoles River stretches 111 kilometers and its basin covers roughly 50% of Costa Rica's population centers.

Carara National Park
