    • Intrepid TravelOperatorWritten July 2025

Here's a quick breakdown of the walking distances and activities for each day of the trip: Day 1: Welcome meeting in the evening and group dinner. Day 2: Trekking distance is approximately 11.5 km. Day 3: Trekking distance is approximately 12 km. Day 4: No trekking today – enjoy a scenic drive to Port Arthur and a wilderness cruise along the Tasman Peninsula, with optional short walks at the end of the day. Day 5: Trekking distance is approximately 14 km. Day 6: Trekking distance is approximately 8 km (including over 2,500 steps). Travel time is around 1.5 hours. You'll arrive in Hobart by late afternoon, so we recommend booking an extra night there.
