- Day 1
South Bali to Pemuteran
A hotel pickup from South Bali kicks off the trip. You'll start at Tanah Lot temple, one of Bali's most recognizable sites, then head inland to Batukaru Temple in the mountains. The 1.5-hour rainforest hike takes you through the landscape where a guide will point out local plants and wildlife. You'll then settle into Puri Dajuma Beach Eco Resort & Spa for two nights, getting settled and oriented to the area.

South Bali
This is a relaxed day at the resort itself. You've got options depending on what appeals to you: Balinese massages, yoga classes, or traditional handicraft courses all happen on-site. It's a chance to slow down and either recharge or pick up a new skill before continuing to Java the next day.

South Bali to Java
After breakfast you check out and drive along Bali's west coast, stopping at Rambut Siwi temple. From there the route continues to Gilimanuk where you'll board a ferry bound for Java. The crossing takes you to Banyuwangi, where you stay overnight at Santika Banyuwangi Hotel and prepare for an early morning ahead.

- Day 4
Java to Bali
You'll wake early and travel through coffee and clove plantations into one of Java's remaining rainforests. The drive takes you to Ijen Crater where an approximately 90-minute climb gets you to the rim. After exploring, you head back down for lunch. Later in the afternoon, you return to Bali and the West Bali National Park area, checking into a resort in Pemuteran for the night.

Pemuteran to Ubud
An optional morning snorkeling trip to Menjangan Island departs from Labuhan Lalang port if you want to add it on. Around midday you travel to Bedugul in the mountains and check out Pura Ulun Danu temple complex on Lake Bratan. After that, you head to Ubud, Bali's cultural center, and have time to wander around on your own. Jalan Goutama offers cafes, boutiques, and restaurants if you want to grab lunch or dinner there.

Ubud to South Bali
Start early with a walk along the Tjampuhan Ridge Walk, which winds through Ubud's landscape. Later you visit the Royal Palace of Ubud and browse the art market for crafts and souvenirs. After lunch, the tour heads to Mengwi to see Pura Taman Ayun temple. By evening you transfer to a beach hotel in South Bali, your choice of accommodations, wrapping up the journey.
