  Breathtaking from the start.Others cancelled last minute so it was just my wife and I.Our driver/guide Buddhika was knowledgeable and everything ran like a Swiss watch.You must do Lion Rock,Wittapatta and Yala Safaris.We saw a leopard at each.The accomodation and meals were great.Plenty of Western options.Lots of walking (to be expected) and cultural experiences. English spoken wherever we went.If you want a different Asia experience go to Sri Lanka .We are so glad we didShow more

  What an amazing experience! We opted for an 11 day private tour, travelling around pretty much the whole of Sri Lanka. The tour takes in most of the important sites, and we felt we had a very comprehensive and varied visit. Because we were on a private tour, we were able to be flexible with timings and activities to a certain degree. Our guide (and driver) Vipul was extremely knowledgeable, and great company...it felt like being in holiday with a friend! We appreciated having AC in the car, as the humidity was in the high 90s for the entire trip! All the hotels were of a good standard and, interestingly, very different. The staff were always SO helpful. If you want a leisurely tour, perhaps ask to customise the schedule to allow more time at each hotel...spending every night in a different hotel is not everyone's cup of tea. Exotic Perla can accommodate whatever pace you need. We would 100% recommend booking with Exotic Perla. They were great from start to finish...we had very few difficulties (all of our own making, I must add!), but everything got sorted without and hassleShow more

  Our driver/guide was brilliant. Great knowledge on everything. Showed us everything including watching the harvesting of rice. The car had been cleaned inside and fresh water for us Showed us so much more than we expected- stopped to try local fruits answered all our questions We had amazing conversations - he was by far the best guide/driver we have ever had. He was always on time to pick us up. Hotels were mostly very good. The best was the Linden Grove. Amazing staff and food All the organised trips were good. Always picked up on time with very knowledgeable staff Our guide organised a few extra trips through his contactsShow more
