Cycle Madagascar was a wonderful experience which provided us with a good sample of Malagasy life. The tour was very well organized and each member of the tour staff did their very best to provide the best experience possible. Armel led the tour very well and made sure that we all knew what to expect and what was expected of us. He was always cheerful, up beat and available when needed. We had a good group with mixed cycling abilities. Overall I think it was quite a strong group. I found the cycling quite challenging at the start as the roads were more hilly than I expected but I grew stronger each day and finished the tour towards the front of the group and a fair bit stronger than I started. The days were long and we usually were up before dawn and on the road early when we were cycling. This was to take advantage of the beautiful sunrises and the cooler morning weather while we were cycling. Support was always there when we needed it and our bus and support truck were never far from us. Snacks, refreshments and meals along the road were very good. One thing I would recommend to improve the experience is to finish each day a little bit earlier in the afternoon to allow a bit more free time to relax. All in all though, this was a terrific experience and a great adventure. PS I am over 70 and ride recreationally, sometimes doing the odd race or endurance ride. You need to be fit to do this tour. If you are, I highly recommend it.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before September 16th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after September 16th, 2026, a minimum payment of 25% is required to confirm your booking with Exodus Adventure Travels. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 120 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
