  1. Day 1

    Casablanca to Rabat

    You'll land in Casablanca and head to Rabat by transfer. After you arrive, the rest of your day is open - this is your chance to walk around, get a feel for the local rhythms, and grab some food whenever you're hungry. Timing depends on when your flight lands, but you'll have time to settle in either way.

  2. Day 2

    Rabat

    Start with Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, then make your way up to the clifftop Oudayas Fortress. From there, you can walk through the old medina and take in the narrow streets and local shops. It's a solid day for seeing the main sites Rabat has to offer.

    Head to the train station and board Morocco's high-speed Al Boraq train headed to Tangier. Once you arrive, you've got time to explore the city's mix of cultures. Check out Cape Spartel, walk through the Rmilat forest, visit the kasbah, and dig into the medina to find smaller spots most people miss.

    Fez

    Erfoud to Merzouga Desert

This afternoon, a jeep safari takes you deep into the Merzouga Desert. You'll reach a desert camp where there's traditional Saharan music and dancing, then dinner under the stars around a campfire. Sleep in an elegant Berber tent.
