- Day 1
Boston
You'll arrive in Boston and check into your hotel, then have the afternoon and early evening to explore on your own. Downtown Crossing and Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market are good options if you want to wander around the city. Later, you'll head to dinner at the hotel with your Travel Director and meet the other travelers on your trip.

- Day 2
Boston to Saratoga Springs
This morning you'll walk the Freedom Trail with your Travel Director, seeing Boston Common, Boston Public Garden, Trinity Church and Copley Square to learn about the city's role in the Revolution. After lunch, you'll have a choice: visit the Norman Rockwell Museum to see the world's largest collection of his original art, or tour Chesterwood, where sculptor Daniel Chester French had his studio and home. From there, you'll drive through the scenic Berkshires to your hotel near Saratoga Spa State Park in upstate New York.

- Day 3
Saratoga Springs to Stowe
You'll travel from Saratoga Springs into Vermont, starting at the Vermont Country Store in Weston to pick up local maple syrup, artisanal cheeses and other regional products. Next you'll walk through the charming village of Woodstock with its Federal-style architecture, then head to Billings Farm & Museum to learn about 19th-century sustainable dairy farming. At Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks, you'll see how maple sap turns into syrup and try the traditional treat of sugar on snow. You'll end the day in Stowe, which is surrounded by beautiful alpine scenery.

Stowe to North Conway
You'll head to New Hampshire's White Mountains and into Franconia Notch. After a scenic gondola ride at Loon Mountain Resort, on clear days you can see across New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, New York and even Canada from the top. Later, you'll drive the famous Kancamagus Scenic Byway, a 34.5-mile stretch of Route 112 with incredible fall foliage, and arrive in North Conway by evening.

North Conway
You'll start the morning with a talk from a naturalist expert on North Woods wildlife and ecology as part of the MAKE TRAVEL MATTER Experience. After that, you'll drive through Crawford Notch, stopping at Silver Cascade Waterfall and Bretton Woods for views of Mount Washington, the tallest peak in the northeast. Your Travel Director will lead a scenic hike to Diana's Baths, where you can see small cascading waterfalls. You'll have the evening free back at your hotel.

North Conway to Portland
This morning you'll cross into Maine as you travel along the jagged coastline. You'll visit Fort Williams Park to see Portland Head Lighthouse, which has operated since 1791. The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore Portland at your own pace. In the evening, you'll have dinner with your fellow travelers featuring fresh Maine lobster.

Portland to Boston
You'll head to Kennebunkport, a coastal town known for sandy beaches and as the former summer home of President George H.W. Bush. After driving along Ocean Drive for views of the Maine coastline, you'll head back to Boston. If you're departing today, you'll arrive at Boston Logan International Airport at 12:30 pm.
