    Leanne

    Asked on November 5th, 2025

can you tell me how late on the 11th I should arrive by - is late afternoon OK. Also, how much climbing is involved each day, and how steep are the climbs.

    Transport
    • Go BikeOperatorWritten November 2025

The tour takes place in Guanacaste. On the first day of riding, our departure point is Playas del Coco. If your flight arrives in San José, we will need to travel approximately 5 hours to get to Playas del Coco. For this reason, we recommend that you plan to arrive in the morning or afternoon. If possible, we suggest flying to Liberia International Airport (Guanacaste) instead. The travel time from Liberia to Playas del Coco is only about one hour.

    • L

      Leanne

      TravelerWritten November 2025

could you answer the other questions I asked - what is the climbing involved daily - how much is it and how steep is it?

    • Go BikeOperatorWritten November 2025

We are attaching a document with the elevation profile for each stage. Since the route goes along coastal towns, it is not very steep, but it is certainly not flat. We classify it as an intermediate-level route.
