Itinerary
- Day 1
Oaxaca City to Llano Grande
You'll leave Oaxaca City early at 8:00 AM for a two-hour drive to Llano Grande. Once there, head into the pine-oak forest for an 8-kilometer hike that leads to El Pinovete, a 30-meter waterfall worth the trek. After grabbing lunch, you'll participate in a traditional bread-making session with local bakers who'll teach you their methods. By evening, settle into adobe cabins where you'll stay the night.

You'll eat lunch at Señora Marlen's restaurant, then meet with Esther, a local expert who shares knowledge about medicinal plants. Later, explore the village at your own pace or consider optional activities like a 1 km zipline or hanging bridge (both cost extra). Dinner comes from Señora Fabiola's kitchen, and you'll rest in rustic cabins afterward.
