Itinerary
- Day 1
Istanbul to Gallipoli to Çanakkale
Start early from Istanbul and head to the Gallipoli Peninsula, one of Turkey's most significant historical areas. You'll spend the day walking through WW1 battlefields including ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair Memorials, Johnston's Jolly, The Nek, and original trenches and tunnels. After exploring these sites, you'll spend the night in Çanakkale.

- Day 2
Çanakkale to Troy to Behramkale to Kuşadası
Leave Çanakkale and travel to Troy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you'll walk through the ancient city and check out the award-winning Troy Museum. From there, continue to the village of Behramkale to see its stone houses and narrow streets, with time to sit down for local tea or coffee. Later in the day, head south and arrive in Kuşadası.

- Day 3
Ephesus
Take a guided tour through Ephesus and see the Temple of Artemis site along with the ancient theatre. Then visit the Ephesus Archaeology Museum to look at regional artifacts on display. You'll also stop at a carpet village where you can learn how traditional Turkish carpets are made and what factors affect their value.

Kuşadası to Pamukkale
This morning, you'll view locally handcrafted leather goods before heading to Pamukkale to see the white calcium terraces called Travertines. Tour the ancient city of Hierapolis, then take a dip in the hot springs where you'll find ancient columns that Romans once used for their healing properties.

- Day 5
Pamukkale to Cappadocia
Travel along the ancient Silk Road, stopping at Sultanhani Caravansary and the Mevlana museum in Konya on your way to Cappadocia. By evening, you have the option to attend a traditional Turkish folklore performance if you're interested.

Cappadocia
Spend the day exploring Cappadocia's unusual lunar landscape. Walk through the Goreme Valley Open Air Museum to see fairy chimneys and wander into the many levels of an underground city carved into the rock.

- Day 7
Cappadocia to Ankara to Istanbul
Early departure to Ankara, Turkey's capital, where you'll visit Anitkabir, the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. After that, you'll head back to Istanbul and arrive around 7pm.
