Itinerary
- Day 1
Zurich
You'll arrive in Zurich and check into your hotel. The afternoon and evening are free, so you can wander around Switzerland's largest city on your own schedule. Later, meet up with your group at the hotel to go over the itinerary and get to know everyone.

- Day 2
Zurich to St. Moritz
After breakfast at your hotel, head to the lobby to meet your tour manager. From there you'll walk to Zurich's main station and board a regional train toward Chur. You'll change trains there and then continue on the UNESCO Albula Line, which takes you through some really scenic territory as you head to St. Moritz in the Engadin Valley.

- Day 3
St. Moritz to Tirano to St. Moritz
Following breakfast at the hotel, board the Bernina Express for a day trip down to Tirano in Italy. The route crosses over Bernina Pass and you'll see Lago Bianco from the train windows. Once you reach Tirano, you'll have time to walk around and grab lunch before heading back to St. Moritz on a direct regional train.

St. Moritz to Zermatt
Start with breakfast, then head to the station to board the Glacier Express, one of Switzerland's most well-known train routes. You'll spend the day traveling through Alpine valleys and over the Oberalp Pass, passing through Andermatt along the way. By late afternoon you'll arrive in Zermatt, positioned right at the base of the Matterhorn.

- Day 5
Zermatt
After eating breakfast at your hotel, take the cogwheel railway up to Gornergrat. From the summit you'll see the Matterhorn from multiple angles and can spend time looking out at the surrounding peaks. The rest of the day is yours to explore Zermatt or rest at your hotel.

Landmarks Gornergrat Matterhorn - Day 6
Zermatt to Montreux
Breakfast comes first, then you'll take the cogwheel railway up to Gornergrat for those views of the Matterhorn. Later in the day you'll travel by train to Montreux along the lake. You'll arrive with time to settle into your new hotel before dinner.

- Day 7
Montreux - Puidoux - Lausanne
After breakfast, take a short regional train ride to Puidoux. At Domaine Bovy, a family-run winery overlooking the lake, you'll do a one-hour tasting session. From there the group moves on to Lausanne, where you'll have free time to walk around the city, grab lunch, and check out whatever interests you.

Montreux - Interlaken - Lucerne
Breakfast at the hotel, then you're off on the GoldenPass Express. The train passes through different regions and language areas, crossing over numerous lakes as it heads toward Interlaken. You'll stop there for lunch and to walk around, then later board the Lucerne-Interlaken Express. This train goes over the Brunig Pass and alongside Lake Brienz on the way to Lucerne, where you'll stay the night.

Lucerne - Mount Rigi
Following breakfast, you'll do a round trip to Mount Rigi's summit using a combination of boat, cogwheel railway, and regional train. From up there you can see across Lake Lucerne and take in the panorama of all the peaks around you.

Lucerne
After breakfast, you'll arrange your own way back to your final destination in Switzerland. Your tour manager will help explain the different transportation options available and answer questions about getting home.
