- Day 1
Cairo Airport to Giza
Your driver picks you up from Cairo airport and takes you to your hotel in Cairo or Giza, which takes about an hour. After checking in, your guide meets with you to go over what's coming up and gives you some practical tips for getting around Egypt.

Giza Plateau and Grand Egyptian Museum
Head out to the Giza Plateau to see the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure along with the Great Sphinx. You'll also visit the Valley Temple and learn how ancient pharaohs were buried. In the afternoon, check out the Grand Egyptian Museum complex, walking through the exterior gardens, the Grand Hall, and displays about the museum's design and history.

Islamic Cairo, Coptic Cairo, and Egyptian Museum
After breakfast, you'll explore Cairo's spiritual and cultural sites. Start at Salah El Din Citadel to see the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, Al Gowhara palace, and other Mamluk and Ottoman buildings. Then head to Old Cairo where you'll walk through the Roman fortress, the Hanging Church, St. Sergius Church, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. By evening, you reach the Egyptian Museum downtown with its collection spanning 5,000 years of pharaonic and Roman artifacts.

- Day 4
Fayoum Oasis and Overnight Sleeper Train to Aswan
Travel to Fayoum Oasis where you're greeted with bedouin tea at a bedouin camp. Tour Wadi Hitan and its museum, see the waterfall, and have lunch with your hosts. Later you'll check out the magic lake before heading back to Cairo. In the evening, you transfer to the train station and board an overnight sleeper train to Aswan with dinner and breakfast included.

Aswan and Nile Cruise
You arrive at Aswan train station in the morning and transfer to your 5-star cruise ship to check in and freshen up. Then you'll take a motorboat to visit the High Dam and Philae Temple. The rest of the day is yours to relax on board before dinner.

Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo, and Edfu
An early start at 4:30 AM takes you on a guided tour to Abu Simbel, and you're back in Aswan by afternoon. Spend time relaxing as the cruise sails south on the Nile. Later it stops at Kom Ombo Temple for a guided visit, then continues toward Edfu Temple.

You have free time while the cruise sails down the Nile. When it stops at Edfu, your guide takes you through the Temple of God Horus. The cruise keeps going toward Luxor and pulls in during the late afternoon.

Luxor and Overnight Return to Cairo

Then explore the east bank, seeing Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. In the evening, you transfer to Luxor train station to board an overnight sleeper train back to Cairo with dinner and breakfast provided.

You arrive at Cairo train station around 7 AM and your driver picks you up to take you to Cairo airport. If you prefer, you can arrange to go to your hotel in Cairo or Giza instead, or another location of your choice.
