Your guide meets you for transfer to Hotel Carretero, where you'll settle in for the night. Bed and breakfast is included, so you can rest up before the adventures ahead.

Green Lagoon Trek
You're heading out on a trek to Laguna Verde in Los Nevados National Natural Park. The lagoon sits over 4,000 meters up, and you'll walk through the páramo ecosystem with frailejones, mountains, waterfalls, and lagoons surrounding you. That green color in the water comes from sulfur and volcanic minerals.

Nevado del Tolima Trek Day 1
This is where the Nevado del Tolima climb starts. You'll follow an old road to Otun Lagoon viewpoint, where you might see Nevado de Santa Isabel. From there, you trek through the 'Eden' forest with its colorful plants and vegetation, then head up to Alto de El Agrado and into the El Berlín páramo valley where you'll camp for the night.

Nevado del Tolima Trek Day 2
Starting at 3,800 meters, you continue climbing through crisp mountain air and native forest. As you go higher, frailejones become more common in the páramo landscape. By day's end, you reach Finca La Playa at 3,700 meters. Later, you'll gather around a campfire at sunset and watch the stars come out.

Nevado del Tolima Trek Day 3
The climb gets serious today, gaining about 1,000 meters over 8 kilometers. Nevado del Tolima reveals itself as you go higher, its snow-capped peak getting clearer. You'll see alpine meadows, tall páramos, and pristine forests as the landscape shifts. By afternoon, you reach base camp with time to take in the views.

Nevado del Tolima Summit Day
Before dawn, you start trekking through snow-covered terrain. After 30 minutes, you reach the glacier edge and gear up. The next 1.5 hours involve navigating crevasses and ice formations to reach the 5,200-meter summit. You'll see surrounding peaks from up there before heading back down to Finca La Playa for your final night.

Cocora Valley
Your descent takes you into Cocora Valley with lush, cloud-covered forests around you. Soon you'll spot the Wax Palms towering over everything else. You cross the Quindío River multiple times on the way through the valley. Once you reach the bottom, you'll explore Salento's colorful buildings and experience its coffee region culture.

- Day 8
Hacienda San Alberto Coffee Tour
At Hacienda San Alberto, you'll see how specialty coffee gets made from start to finish. The farm sits at 1,800 meters where conditions are ideal for growing. You'll learn about their sustainable practices, then try different brewing methods and taste the coffee yourself.

Cycling Tour
You transfer to Armenia airport (about 1 hour), fly to Cartagena (roughly 4 hours with possible connections in Bogotá), then transfer from the airport (30 minutes). After settling in, you take a guided cycling tour through the walled city center, Getsemaní, Manga, and Bocagrande, stopping for photos and stories about landmarks and the neighborhoods that inspired Gabriel García Márquez's 'Love in the Time of Cholera.'

Boquilla Sunset Experience
You're going to La Boquilla, a fishing village with over 200 years of history. Luis Eduardo Gómez Leal leads you through ancestral dances and traditional bullerengue circles under the stars. You'll participate in the rhythms and energy of the community, ending with a gratitude ritual to the drums.

Departure
