Itinerary
- Day 1
La Paz
You'll arrive in La Paz and settle into your hotel, then head out in the afternoon for a guided walk through the city's historic center. The tour takes you through Plaza Murillo and the Witches' Market, where locals sell traditional remedies and folk items. Later you'll ride the cable car system, the highest in the world, which gives you sweeping views out over the city and the surrounding Andes valley.

- Day 2
La Paz to Uyuni Salt Flats - Colchani
After flying from La Paz to Uyuni, you'll start exploring the otherworldly terrain right away. First stop is the Train Cemetery with its abandoned locomotives, then you'll head to Colchani village to see how salt production works. From there it's into the Salar de Uyuni salt flat itself. You'll hike up Incahuasi Island for 360-degree views, grab lunch surrounded by the white landscape, take those famous perspective photos, and watch the sunset before spending the night at your salt hotel.

- Day 3
Uyuni to La Paz to Cusco
You'll transfer to Uyuni airport for your flight back to La Paz, then continue on to Cusco. Once you land in Cusco, your guide meets you at the airport and takes you to your hotel to check in and rest after the travel.

- Day 4
Cusco
The morning is spent on a guided tour of Cusco's major Inca sites. You'll see the Temple of the Sun, walk through the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, and visit other ceremonial and military locations scattered around the city. The afternoon is free, so you can choose to visit museums like the Inca Museum or Pre-Columbian Art Museum to learn more about the ancient civilization, or just explore the city on your own.

Cusco to Sacred Valley - Aguas Calientes
You'll travel through the Sacred Valley starting at Pisac, where you explore Inca temples and terraces that climb the steep slopes. The local market here sells handicrafts and traditional goods. After browsing around, you'll have lunch in Urubamba, then continue to Ollantaytambo to see the massive stone structures of this town that's still inhabited today. In the evening, you'll take a scenic 1.5-hour train ride to Aguas Calientes, the town at the base for reaching Machu Picchu.

- Day 6
Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu to Cusco
Get up early to catch the sunrise at Machu Picchu. Your guide takes you through the ruins for 2.5 to 3 hours, showing you the sacred temples and palaces while you take in the views of the Andean peaks and valleys surrounding the site. After that, you'll return by train to Ollantaytambo and then get transferred back to your hotel in Cusco.

Cusco Departure
Check out of your hotel and head to Cusco airport for your departure flight. If you have a later flight, your guide can help you store luggage and recommend some last-minute things to do around the city, or you can just relax before heading to the airport.
