- Day 1
Bogota
You'll land at El Dorado International Airport and get transferred to your hotel in Bogota. The rest of the day is open, so you can either walk around the city on your own or just settle in at the hotel.

- Day 2
Bogota
Start with a bike tour through La Candelaria neighborhood with a guide who'll point out squares, parks, historical sites, and street graffiti. Then head to the Gold Museum to see over 30,000 pre-Columbian gold pieces. In the afternoon, try Tejo, Colombia's national sport, where you throw metal discs at gunpowder targets in sand at a local venue.

Bogota - Zipaquira - Raquira - Villa de Leyva
After breakfast, head north to the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira, carved 120 metres down into a salt mine. Next, stop in Raquira to check out colorful pottery in the village. Then drive to Villa de Leyva, a preserved 16th-century colonial town with one of South America's largest main squares. You'll have time to walk the cobbled streets, visit cafes, and look through handicraft shops.

Villa de Leyva - Bogota - Salento
Visit the Paleontological Museum to see dinosaur fossils over 150 million years old and learn about the region's Jurassic history. Then drive back to Bogota to catch your flight to the Coffee Region.

- Day 5
Cocora Valley - Salento
After breakfast, head into Cocora Valley where tall wax palms grow against lush cloud forest slopes. You'll walk beneath these trees, look for bird species, and take in the scenery (horseback riding is optional). Later, visit the coffee village of Salento where you can wander the streets, sit at the main square, taste local coffee, and pick up handmade crafts. End the day at Finca El Ocaso, a traditional coffee farm, where staff will show you the production process from seed to cup.

Salento - Medellin
You'll get a private transfer from Salento to Medellin, which takes about 7 hours through beautiful Colombian landscapes and the coffee region. Just relax and take in the views during the drive. Once you arrive in Medellin, the rest of your day is free to explore neighborhoods, cafes, and local spots.

- Day 7
Medellin
After breakfast, learn about Medellin's transformation from a troubled past to an innovative city. Use the metro and cable car to get to Comuna 13, an area showing real resilience and community development. You'll ride electric escalators, part of the city's revitalization, and see daily life there. Later, check out Berrio Park and Botero Plaza to see striking bronze sculptures by Fernando Botero.

Medellin - Santa Marta - Tayrona
You'll be picked up at your hotel and taken to Jose Maria Cordova International Airport for your flight to Santa Marta. After landing at Simon Bolivar International Airport, continue with a scenic transfer to Tayrona Park about an hour away, where you can start exploring the natural coastal region.

Tayrona
After breakfast, have a relaxed day in Tayrona's coastal area. You can chill on the beaches at your own pace or join a full-day tour of Tayrona National Park (about 9 hours). The optional tour drives east along the Caribbean coast to El Zaino, then walks to Canaverai Beach. From there, a one-hour hike through tropical forest gets you to Arrecife Beach, and you'll visit more beaches like Arenillas, La Piscina, and Cabo San Juan before heading back.

Tayrona - Santa Marta - Cartagena
Travel from Tayrona to Santa Marta and then Cartagena, which takes about 4 to 5 hours. Once there, start with La Popa Monastery at the city's highest point around 140 metres for panoramic views. Next, tour the Felipe de Barajas Fortress, a coral stone structure built to defend against pirates in the 17th and 18th centuries (the tour runs about one hour). Finish with a two-hour stroll through the historic centre's squares, churches, and winding streets.
