Itinerary
- Day 1
Arusha to Serval Wildlife Sanctuary
This morning you'll get picked up from your hotel in Arusha and head toward Serval Wildlife Sanctuary. The drive takes you through open savannah plains and past traditional Maasai villages, so you'll see quite a bit of the landscape. Once at the sanctuary, a guide takes you around to see giraffes, zebras, and elands up close. You get to hand-feed some of the animals too, with staff there to show you how. After that, there's a nature walk where you might spot African fish eagles, kingfishers, and other bird species. Around lunch time, you can eat at the sanctuary's restaurant or grab a spot by the lake if you want views of Mount Kilimanjaro while eating. By late afternoon you'll head back to your hotel in Arusha.
