  Central Japan was the place of the country that serious travellers would talk about but seldom bother to venture to. The 11-day expedition through the Central Japan changed all that. This journey was not an easy one, taking us away from the beaten path of Tokyo-Kyoto and into the embrace of the Edo period in beautifully preserved post towns, the Japanese Alps in all its cinematic glory, and rural communities, where traditional craftsmanship continues to shape daily life with unassuming and unhurried elegance. With only 11 days, it was more like living through the experience and each stop was a Japan that is beyond the pages of any guidebook. It was not a secret place anymore, Central Japan was what it really was, the real Japan I had never known before.Show more

  The 11 Day Explorer Central Japan tour was an unforgettable experience that showcased the perfect blend of Japan's rich traditions, stunning landscapes, and vibrant cities. We set off on our trip with a detailed itinerary that included visits to historic cities, stunning landscapes, cultural sites, and vibrant urban areas. Every stop was special in its own right and the time was more than adequate to visit, photograph and still make the most of the local vibe. The tour guide was excellent throughout the trip. They were informative, welcoming and enthusiastic about sharing information about Japan's history, traditions and culture. They also shared local food ideas and other hidden gems of the area, making the trip even more enjoyable, and were always sure to keep the group warm and informed. Transportation was always on time and accommodations were clean and comfortable. All of the tour was well handled professionally and was smooth and stress free. This 11 day trip brought me a whole new respect and experience for Central Japan and I will never forget it. I can highly recommend this tour to all who wish to have a balanced tour into the heart of Japan, fully immersive and enjoyable at the same time.Show more

  I was really taken aback by the way they plan my travels since I started using their service. The trip was quite detailed but not too lengthy, and every detail of the trip was clearly explained, including what to expect in terms of transportation, accommodations, and activities. Everything I was recommended on the trip was well researched and extremely helpful in making the most of the time and not feeling rushed or overwhelmed at any point. Booking was straightforward and the layout was clean, making the finding of important information easy. For example, adding traveller tips to all destinations with local customs or tips to stay out of the crowd in peak hour for a better travelling experience.Show more

  I'm a traveler who likes to find new places to visit and I found this tour to be a great experience and fun. Since the beginning of the trip, all was done professionally and we could relax and concentrate on the journey. This was a well planned itinerary with some places that I would never have found that were popular as well as other lesser known, local places. Our guide was great, very approachable, full of energy and always available to answer our questions. They shared some local food and cultural recommendations which made the trip even more personal. I also really liked their flexibility with the unpredictable 'weather changes' and having to slightly tweak the schedule. The tour pace was not hurried and allowed for enough time at the various locations to take pictures, explore and enjoy the surroundings. The group had a good atmosphere and the trip was well organised! Overall great value, great travel experience and I would definitely book another tour with this company in the future.Show more
