- Day 1
Rio de Janeiro
You'll arrive in Rio and meet your tour group around 6pm for an orientation session. This is when you'll get to know the other travelers and hear from your tour leader about what's coming up during your time in this vibrant city known for its beaches, mountains, and the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue.

Rio de Janeiro
Start with a scenic historic electric tram ride through the Atlantic forest in Tijuca National Park. You'll then hike for 2 hours 30 minutes, passing Taunay Waterfall, Job de Alcântara Bridge, and Mayrink Chapel before reaching Cascatinha summit for valley views. After that, you'll cool off with a swim and take the historic tram up to Christ the Redeemer for city and mountain views.

Rio de Janeiro to Paraty
Begin with a three-minute ride on the historic Sugarloaf cable car, one of the oldest working in the world, taking in panoramic views of Copacabana beach, mountains, and downtown Rio. Then transfer by private vehicle for 4 hours 30 minutes to Paraty, a charming colonial town situated between jungle-covered mountains and a beautiful bay.

- Day 4
Paraty
This morning involves a boat tour leaving from the pier that takes you through Paraty's history. You'll pass the historic centre and various churches, and stop at a few beaches, the Defensor Perpétuo Fort, Tapera Fort ruins, and the Coqueiro Distillery. After lunch, a guide takes you walking through the 18th-century town to see churches, museums, and local monuments.

Paraty
You have a free day in Paraty to explore at your own pace. Walk through the colonial streets, sample local street food, and try Gabriela, the local cachaça infused with clove and cinnamon. Alternatively, you can join an optional guided tour along colonial-era trails to see waterfalls and a traditional distillery.

Paraty to Foz do Iguaçu
Very early transfer (4 hours) to São Paulo Airport for a 1 hour 45 minute flight to Foz do Iguaçu. Once there, you'll spend three hours exploring Iguaçu Falls with your tour leader, visiting the most beautiful viewpoints including Devil's Throat, the most powerful waterfall in the system. You'll walk through Atlantic forest where capybaras, tree frogs, and monkeys live, with possible sightings of jaguars or caimans.

- Day 7
Foz do Iguaçu to Argentina
Cross into Argentina to see Iguaçu Falls from a different perspective. The Rainforest Ecological Train takes you through Iguazú National Park with two circuits: the lower circuit (9,185 feet/2,800 meters) for close-up waterfall views where you might get wet, and the upper circuit (11,155 feet/3,400 meters) offering panoramic river views. You can optionally join La Gran Aventura for a two-hour adventure using adapted trucks and a powerboat through jungle trails.

Foz do Iguaçu to Manaus
Very early flight from Foz do Iguaçu to Manaus takes approximately 8 hours total including a plane change in São Paulo. Upon arrival, take a 30-minute boat ride along Rio Negro to the indigenous village of Tatuyo for a one-hour cultural experience. Continue by boat for another hour to Poranduba Lodge in the Amazon, where after lunch you'll do a light trail walk, swim in the river, and relax before dinner. An optional one-hour canoe adventure happens after dinner if you're interested.

- Day 9
Amazon - Rio Negro
Experience different sides of the Amazon today. Start with an exclusive 50-minute tractor tour on sofa-style seating along a scenic trail, then cool off with a dip in Rio Negro. In the afternoon, speedboats take you through vast Anavilhanas National Park for a three-hour tour with sunset on the way back. After dinner, join a one-hour night hike with expert local guides to hear the forest come alive after dark.

Take a 30-minute boat ride to one of the nearby beaches for relaxation and views of the region. From September to March, you can visit Praia do Iluminado or Praia Alta through an upstream journey. In the afternoon, enjoy a 1 hour 30 minute canoe trip to see the nature and watch the sunset.

Manaus
After breakfast, say goodbye to the Amazon. You'll depart at 9am on a 1 hour 40 minute speedboat ride to Mirante Lucia Almeida in Manaus, then transfer for 25 minutes to Manaus Airport for your departure.
