Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi to Quang Phu Cau to Van Phuc
Head out early from Hanoi and make your way to Quang Phu Cau Incense Village where you'll walk through traditional incense-making workshops. Local artisans will show you how they craft their pieces, and you can try making your own incense sticks if you want to get hands-on with it. After checking out some of the village temples, you'll grab lunch around midday at a local spot near Van Phuc Silk Village. Order up some Banh Cuon, Pho, or Bun Thang to get a real taste of Vietnamese food. Later in the afternoon, head to Van Phuc and spend time walking around the silk shops where you'll see traditional silk weaving happening right in front of you inside the workshops. Stick around to pick up some silk souvenirs before heading back to Hanoi by 5:00 PM.
