Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Madagascar. The itinerary was great especially the national parks and reserves. Great guide/ driver and local guides too. Mix of hotels some excellent and others average but fine. Be prepared for long bumpy journeys but the views and end point is great.

My guides were all excellent and the accommodations were good enough for where we were. The tour never felt overly rushed or slow with ample time to do solo exploration. I wish my first guide, in Antananarivo and Andasibe, spoke better English. There were many instances where I tried to get information on my surroundings or the culture and was met with a nervous laugh of incomprehension. So when I really needed something I would speak very simple English or switch to broken French. I felt the tour was worth what I paid, especially considering that breakfast and dinner were included each day.
