  With the 6 hours to explore both Grindelwald and Interlaken at your own pace with optional activities of your choice - what are the optional activities? Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen is about 16min and Grindewald to Lauterbrunnen is about 23min via cara - would it be a possibility to fit this in ourselves within the 6 hours? Are there any public transport/taxis?

  The optional activities during your 6 hours in Grindelwald and Interlaken can include things like hiking, visiting local shops and cafés, taking a boat ride on Lake Thun or Lake Brienz, or trying adventure activities such as paragliding or a funicular ride, depending on your interests. Regarding visiting Lauterbrunnen, it is possible to fit it in within the 6 hours, but it might be a bit tight given travel times and your exploration plans. There are regular public trains and buses connecting Interlaken, Grindelwald, and Lauterbrunnen, and taxis are available too.
