Itinerary
- Day 1
Kigali to Mgahinga
After breakfast, you'll meet your driver guide and head to the Kigali Genocide Museum to pay respects to the victims of the 1994 genocide. This is a sobering but important part of understanding Rwanda's history. From there, you'll transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda for the night, traveling through the scenic landscape as you cross into Uganda.

- Day 2
Mgahinga Gorilla Tracking
Starting early with breakfast, you'll go to the ranger station for a briefing on gorilla tracking safety guidelines before heading into the forest. A senior ranger guide joins you as you search for gorillas in their natural habitat. Once you locate them, you'll have an hour to observe and photograph these remarkable animals before making your way back to the lodge.

- Day 3
Mgahinga to Kigali
Following a relaxed breakfast, you'll transfer back to Kigali, leaving the forest and volcano mountains behind. Your driver guide will take you to your hotel or airport depending on your departure schedule, giving you time to reflect on your time in the region.
