    • The Dragon TripOperatorWritten March 2025

At its heart, the Dragon Trip is an adventure tour of Taiwan, but you can make your experience as physically active (or inactive) as you'd like. If you prefer not to bike, no worries! Just let your Adventure Leader know, and they'll help find a more relaxing alternative. We always ask travellers to expect a lot of walking however. Regarding whale watching, while the peak season is typically from May to October, there's still a chance you might be able to catch the end of the season in November - so you may be lucky! The most common whales seen during the season are cachalot whales and dolphins, but sightings can vary.
