The National Gardens offer a nice spot to walk around, and if you're up for something with a view, climbing Philopappou Hill gives you a good look at the city. Around 5:30 or 6:00 in the evening, you'll meet your guide and the rest of the group for a welcome briefing and an orientation walk to get your bearings.

I very much enjoyed this tour and our Guide, Robert, was excellent. Even though I could not do some of the hikes, due to injury (not sustained during the tour), I was well looked after and accommodated and thoroughly enjoyed all the other aspects of the tour.
