You'll arrive at Tenerife North or South airport and head to your hotel in Puerto de la Cruz on your own schedule. Get settled in and relax this afternoon, then dinner is included at the hotel this evening so you can meet the group.

Puerto de la Cruz
You'll meet your guide at the hotel for a quick information session, then the day opens up for you to explore on your own. Take a leisurely walk through Puerto de la Cruz and check out the local bars and cafes, or make your way to Playa Jardin where the black sand beach sits against volcanic rock formations.

Puerto de la Cruz - Santa Cruz - La Laguna
A half-day guided trip takes you to Santa Cruz, one of Spain's major cities in the Canary Islands. After that, head to La Laguna, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you'll see the cathedral and walk through colonial architecture that's been carefully preserved before returning to Puerto de la Cruz later.

Your full-day guided tour starts in Icod de los Vinos on the west coast, where you'll see the iconic Dragon Tree. Then travel to Playa de las Americas with time to wander around and take in the scenery. Later in the afternoon, visit the Basilica de Candelaria to see the Black Madonna statue and bronze statues of the Guanches.

Puerto de la Cruz - Mount Teide National Park
A half-day guided excursion heads to Teide National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site home to Mount Teide, Spain's highest mountain. The park is known for its volcanic landscape and you'll see terrain that draws lots of visitors throughout the year. It's one of Tenerife's top attractions worth seeing.
