Dear Maggie, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your review! We are absolutely delighted that you loved the Unconventional Sorrento Coast hotel, their wonderful staff, the convenient golf cart shuttle, and that amazing cooking class. It is also fantastic to hear that the Sorrento walking tour was a highlight, and that Nello made your day in Capri so special! We truly appreciate your honest feedback regarding the size of the group tours for Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast. While our standard packages are designed to bring travelers together, we completely understand that some guests prefer a more intimate, personal touch. For future reference, we are always incredibly happy to customize our itineraries: we offer private or small-group upgrades for those who prefer a more tailored and close-knit experience. Thank you again for your valuable insights, and we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back for a custom-tailored adventure in the future! Kindest regards, IAMME IA! Gray Line Amalfi Coast

Dear Murray, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback and for your incredibly kind words about Miriam’s dedication and organization. Ensuring our guests feel personally cared for is at the very heart of what we do, and she is thrilled to have made a positive impact on your stay! We also truly appreciate your constructive honesty. We are sorry to hear that the guide in Pompeii felt a bit distant; we hold our guiding team to very high standards of warmth and hospitality, so we will certainly share your feedback with them. As for the early breakfast, we completely understand your point. While early departures sometimes require boxed options due to hotel kitchen schedules, we always want our guests to feel fully energized for a busy day. We will discuss this with our hotel partner to see how we can upgrade and improve this service for future travelers. Thank you again for helping us grow, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for an even better experience next time! Warmest regards from Sorrento, IAMME IA! Gray Line Amalfi Coast

We are absolutely honored that you chose to celebrate this special new chapter by cross-ing the Amalfi Coast off your bucket list with us. Hearing that we took away all the stress of buses and tickets is music to our ears. The full-day adventure lasts approximately 8 hours and begins with an early morning departure from the Sorrento pier to beat the crowds. You will meet the local guide and board a fast public hydrofoil to Capri's Marina Grande. Upon arrival, a minibus will take the group up the hills to the famous Blue Grotto. Weather and sea conditions permitting, guests will board small rowboats to experience the glowing blue waters inside the cave. The tour then moves to the peaceful town of Anacapri, offering free time to explore its charming streets, visit Villa San Michele, or ride the Mount Solaro chairlift. Afterward, a scenic drive down the winding "Mamma Mia Road" leads to the lively heart of Capri town. You will have free time to enjoy the iconic Piazzetta, browse designer boutiques, or relax at a café. Later in the afternoon, the group will take the funicular back to Marina Grande, with an optional island boat tour available if time permits, before returning to Sorrento by hydrofoil.

Inclusions: expert local guide with audio headsets, round-trip public hydrofoil from Sorrento, all island transport via minibus and funicular, and the Blue Grotto entry fee and rowboat ride. The tour is kept to small groups of 22 people or fewer. Food and beverages are not included, allowing you full freedom to choose your own lunch spot, nor are optional activity fees like the Anacapri chairlift or museum entrance tickets.

Accommodations: You will stay in comfortable, handpicked 3-star or 4-star hotels (depending on the package selected) located in or around Sorrento, providing a perfect and stress-free base for daily excursions. This tour requires standard mobility, as it involves walking on cobblestones and navigating a potentially slippery flight of steps to access the Blue Grotto rowboats. Because the Blue Grotto is highly weather-dependent, it will be replaced by a scenic boat tour around the island if sea conditions close the cave on that day.

    • IAMME IA - Gray Line Amalfi CoastOperatorWritten May 2026

Our tour is based on a B&B formula, which means that a wonderful breakfast is included every morning at your accommodation to start your day off right. As for lunch and dinner, meals are purposely not included in the tour description. We chose this approach to offer our travelers the ultimate flexibility and freedom. This way, you can fully immerse yourselves in the local culture and choose exactly where and what you prefer to eat each day, exploring the incredible culinary scene of the Amalfi Coast at your own pace. Of course, our guides will be more than happy to share their favorite local spots and hidden gems with you during the trip!

Are there any other costs we need to be aware of with this tour

    • IAMME IA - Gray Line Amalfi CoastOperatorWritten May 2026

We work with several partner properties in both the 3* Superior and 4* Standard categories. While their specific locations may vary slightly, all of them are situated either in the heart of Sorrento or very close to the center. Each hotel is well-connected by local transport and is only a few minutes away from our tour meeting points. Although the transfer from the hotel to the starting point of the daily tours is not officially included in the package, we always strive to provide a complimentary morning pick-up whenever availability allows.

    • IAMME IA - Gray Line Amalfi CoastOperatorWritten May 2026

If you wish to arrive one day early, we would be delighted to arrange an additional night's stay for you at the tour hotel (please note that in this case, I would adjust the total booking price accordingly to include the extra night). We can certainly organize your pick-up from the Naples train station even if you arrive a day before the official tour starts. To ensure a completely stress-free arrival, we arrange a personalized meet-and-greet service where our driver will meet you directly at the train platform.

    • IAMME IA - Gray Line Amalfi CoastOperatorWritten May 2026

The tour is provided on a Bed & Breakfast basis, meaning breakfast is included every morning, but lunches and dinners are excluded to give you maximum flexibility to explore the local culinary scene. Additionally, please keep in mind the mandatory local city tax, which is not included in the package and must be paid directly to the hotel per person, per night.

Day 1 of our tour includes a private transfer from Naples to Sorrento, and both the time and location are entirely at your discretion. Since you will be arriving from Ischia, you'll just need to let us know your hydrofoil's arrival time at the port. We will be happy to organize a personal meet & greet with your driver directly at the pier and arrange your transfer to your hotel in Sorrento!

We designed this 5-day trip to ensure a comprehensive experience while discovering the highlights of the Sorrento area. However, if you wish to adjust the itinerary and skip a day trip and take a day for yourself, absolutely feel free to do so! Regarding the Capri tour, you'll have free time to spend in Anacapri as you wish: by paying on the spot, you'll easily take the chairlift and enjoy the breathtaking view from the top of Monte Solaro.
