- Day 1
Lake Bled
You'll arrive at Lake Bled and settle into this charming lakeside town. The day involves taking a walk around the water's edge, visiting the island church in the middle of the lake, and heading up to the medieval castle on the cliff overlooking everything. The views from up there give you a real sense of why this place is so popular.

- Day 2
Bled to Pokljuka High Plateau
After a short drive in the morning, you'll start hiking on the Pokljuka High Plateau at 1,280m. The trail takes you through mountain pastures and thick fir forests to Lipanska Hut where you'll grab a typical hikers' lunch. Later in the afternoon, you'll follow a panoramic route with good views before reaching the biathlon centre at Pokljuka for the night.

Pokljuka High Plateau to Lake Bohinj
You're driven up to Pokljuka Plateau to begin hiking through mountain pastures and past old farmhouses. The trail leads to a viewpoint over Bohinj Valley, and then you'll head down to explore the historic village of Studor with its traditional character. From there, you continue to Lake Bohinj, which sits in the heart of Triglav National Park.

Lake Bohinj to Komna Hut
Starting on the northern side of Lake Bohinj, you'll follow a trail between the clear water and steep mountain slopes rising up. At the end of the valley, you'll reach the Savica waterfall, which drops 70 meters and was inspiration for the Slovenian epic poem Krst pri Savici. In the afternoon, the trail climbs through forest paths to Komna Hut, where you can look back over the lake.

Komna Hut to Lepena Valley
This hike covers highlands that served as the hinterland during World War I fighting at the Isonzo Front. You'll pass military remains along narrow paths that cut through flowering meadows. After stopping for lunch at Krn Lake, you'll descend into the peaceful Lepena Valley where you stay for the night.

Lepena Valley to Bovec
You start at Sunikov gaj, a park with active water springs throughout. From there, you follow the Soca River, which is known for its bright turquoise color, as it flows through the narrow and deep gorges of Trenta Valley. This stage finishes in Bovec, which is known as a center for adventure sports and outdoor activities.
