Itinerary
- Day 1
Stockholm
You'll arrive in Stockholm and take the Arlanda Express directly into the city center. After checking into your hotel in a central location, you'll get your first look at this unique city spread across 14 islands. The water is everywhere here, with the Baltic Sea on one side and Lake Mälaren on the other, so you'll quickly understand why Stockholm has that maritime character people talk about.

- Days 2 - 3
Stockholm
These two days are yours to explore Stockholm however you like. Gamla Stan's narrow streets are worth wandering through, and you can visit several museums depending on your interests. The Vasa Museum houses a 17th-century ship that's been preserved, Skansen shows Swedish culture and history across five centuries, and there's the ABBA Museum if that appeals to you. The Royal Palace and Stockholm City Hall are also on most people's lists. You'll get a real feel for how the city uses all those 14 islands.
