Itinerary
- Day 1
Quito
You'll arrive in Quito and get transferred from the airport to your hotel. The rest of the evening is yours to spend as you like, wandering around Ecuador's capital before heading to the Galapagos tomorrow.

Quito to Baltra to Santa Cruz
After breakfast, head to the airport for your flight to Baltra (you'll arrange this separately). Once there, take the ferry to Santa Cruz and join a guided tour through the highlands. You'll see giant tortoise shelters, walk through lava tunnels, and look for Darwin's finches before transferring to your Puerto Ayora hotel.

Santa Cruz
Spend a half-day on the water checking out Puerto Ayora's bay. The tour includes visiting the sea lion colony on La Loberia Island, snorkeling with sea turtles and tropical fish, hiking to Tunel del Amor to spot white-tip reef sharks, and stopping at Punta Estrada for marine iguanas. You can upgrade to a full day for an extra fee.

Santa Cruz
This is a full day on a boat exploring remote Galapagos waters. You'll work with a former fisherman, his crew, and a naturalist guide who'll help you spot wildlife. There's plenty of time for swimming and snorkeling throughout the day before returning to Puerto Ayora.

Santa Cruz to Guayaquil/Quito to Lima
After breakfast, transfer to Baltra and fly to Lima via Guayaquil or Quito (you'll book this separately). When you land in Peru's capital, someone will pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel.

Lima
You'll explore Lima on a half-day guided tour starting in the Miraflores district, then heading to San Isidro to see a pre-Inca huaca. Later you'll walk through the city center, visit the colonial Plaza de Armas, check out the historic Convent of Santo Domingo, and tour the Larco Museum with its archaeological pieces. Your evening is free to try Lima's nightlife and have a Pisco Sour.

Lima to Cusco
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Cusco (you'll handle the booking). The afternoon and evening are open to explore Cusco on your own, or you can join an optional tour visiting San Pedro market, the Koricancha Temple ruins, Sacsayhuaman fortress, Q'enqo archaeological site, and Plaza de Armas with its Cathedral.

- Day 8
Cusco to Sacred Valley
Head to three key Sacred Valley locations today. First, you'll see the Maras salt mines where Peru's finest salt comes from. Then visit Moray, an archaeological site with impressive terraced circles where Incas cultivated crops. After that, the Misminay indigenous community welcomes you with traditional music and dancing, and they'll show you their planting, harvesting, and textile work before you head to your Sacred Valley hotel.

Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu to Cusco
Transfer to Ollantaytambo station and board the train to Aguas Calientes, watching the valley scenery pass. A short bus ride takes you to Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders. After your guided tour of this ancient Inca citadel, you'll return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and free time. Later, take the train back to Ollantaytambo and continue by road to Cusco.

Cusco
You have the day to relax at your hotel or explore Cusco independently. If you're interested, there's an optional full-day Rainbow Mountain tour available. That trip heads early toward the South Valley, crossing toward Cusipata and Phulawasipata, then you'll hike to Vinicunca to see the bright mineral-colored rocks. There's good time for photos before returning to Cusco.
