Itinerary
- Day 1
Phnom Penh
Your guide and driver pick you up and head into Phnom Penh's main sights. You'll start with the Royal Palace complex, originally built in 1866, then move to the Silver Pagoda right nearby where golden Buddha statues catch the light. After that, you'll see the Independence Monument and check out the National Museum with its traditional Khmer architecture. The riverside park where four rivers converge is next, and you'll climb up to the sacred Phnom Daun Penh hill for views of the city. Later, walk through the Central Market, a large dome-shaped building from 1937 with long hallways packed with local vendors and goods.

- Day 2
Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
Morning starts at Tuol Sleng, which is now the Genocide Museum and was once the Khmer Rouge's Security Office 21. It's a difficult but important historical site to understand. After that, you'll walk through the Russian Market and see how locals go about their daily shopping and trading. Early afternoon, your guide takes you to the bus station for the 6-hour drive to Siem Reap. Once you arrive, the driver transfers you to your hotel so you can settle in for the night.

- Day 3
Siem Reap
Today you're exploring the temples of Angkor Thom, starting at the South Gate. You'll see the Bayon Temple, then the Terrace of the Elephants with its carved elephant designs running along the stone. The Baphuon temple mountain comes next, followed by the Royal Palace Area and Phimeanakas. You'll also check out the Terrace of the Leper King, which has intricate carvings of mythological beings. After lunch, head to Angkor Wat, the massive religious monument from the 12th century. Later in the evening, you can head to the night market where there are bars and pubs for dinner and drinks.

- Day 4
Siem Reap
This day covers both the Small Circuit and Grand Circuit of temples around Angkor. Morning includes Ta Prohm with those famous giant trees growing through the ruins, Prasat Kravan built by nobles, Banteay Kdei which has intricate carvings even though parts are crumbling, the royal pool at Srah Srang, Takeo pyramid temple, Thommanon, and Chau Say Tevoda. After lunch, you'll travel the Grand Circuit to see Preah Khan with its long hallways, the delicate Neak Pean temple, Ta Som with its monastic buildings, East Mebon which sits on what used to be an island, and finish at Pre Rup where you can watch the sunset from higher ground.

- Day 5
Siem Reap
Start your morning at Wat Thmei, the Killing Field, where a glass-walled stupa holds remains of Khmer Rouge victims. Then visit the Satcha Handicraft Center, Cambodia's first center supporting local artisans who blend traditional methods with contemporary work. In the afternoon, take a traditional wooden boat out on the Tonle Sap lake, Asia's largest, to see floating villages and experience authentic Khmer life on the water. You'll also stop at Wat Bo, an 18th century pagoda with unusual Ramayana scenes painted on the walls, and walk through the local market to see what's being sold.

- Day 6
Siem Reap to Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast at your hotel, your driver takes you to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Once you land, you'll be transferred to your hotel in the city center, giving you the afternoon to rest or explore nearby.

Ho Chi Minh City to Can Tho
Following breakfast, your guide picks you up from the hotel to start toward the Mekong Delta. You'll board a boat and cruise along one branch of the Mekong river, stopping at different local workplaces to see how people make their living. The route takes you through a quiet village and then into dense coconut plantations where you can walk around and feel the rhythm of Delta village life. Lunch happens at a local restaurant in the rural area, and then you continue on to Can Tho city for the night.

Can Tho to Ho Chi Minh City
Early morning means heading out by river boat to the Cai Rang floating market, one of the best parts of visiting the Delta. You'll see beautiful river scenery and watch locals going about their daily routines along the Mekong canals, buying and selling from boat to boat. After exploring the market and surrounding area more, you'll head back to Ho Chi Minh City by afternoon or evening depending on your pace.

Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi

You'll discover the local cuisine while learning about Hanoi's culture, tasting authentic dishes and street food as you walk through the narrow streets and alleys.

Hanoi to Ha Long Bay
After breakfast, you'll drive 3 hours to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO site famous for its seascape, thousands of islands, and caves with stalagmites and stalactites. Upon arrival, you'll board your cruise and have lunch while sailing through the bay. The afternoon brings various activities like sightseeing, kayaking, swimming, and visiting caves depending on what your specific cruise offers. You'll sleep on the boat overnight so you can wake up to the bay.

Your driver meets you there and transfers you back to Hanoi so you can check into your hotel for the night.

Hanoi to Luang Prabang
After breakfast, your driver transfers you to the airport for your flight to Luang Prabang. Once you arrive, you're met and taken to your hotel. After resting a bit, you'll visit the Royal Palace Museum to see historical artifacts and check out Wat Mai temple with its golden bas-relief decorations. Take a walk around the city center streets to watch local life and get a feel for the place. Late afternoon, climb to the top of Mount Phousi to see the sacred gilded stupa and catch the sunset with views of the city and Mekong River. Finish your day at the Night Market where local vendors sell handmade textiles and crafts.

- Day 13
Luang Prabang
After breakfast, you'll take a leisurely cruise upstream on the Mekong River through tranquil countryside. You'll reach the Pak Ou Caves, a 16th century cave monastery containing thousands of Buddha images set into limestone cliffs above the river. On the way, stop at Ban Muang Keo village known for traditional Lao rice whisky production. Back in Luang Prabang, visit the old Wat Sene and then Wat Xiengthong with its distinctive two-tiered sweeping roof and ornate glass mosaics. If time allows, visit Ban Xangkhong Thai Lue village for arts and crafts, and Ban Xienglek village where craftspeople make traditional Saa paper.

- Day 14
Luang Prabang
Wake early to join the daily morning alms giving ceremony, a sacred Laotian tradition dating back to the 14th century where over 200 Buddhist monks gather their meals from local residents. Visit the temporary morning market near the former Royal Palace where locals trade rice, vegetables, fish, and chicken. After hotel breakfast, go to Wat Sene, the city's oldest temple, then see Wat Xiengthong with its classical Laotian architecture. Travel to Kuang Si waterfalls, the largest in the area with three tiers dropping 50 meters into bright blue pools where you can swim. Finally, transfer to the airport for your departure home.
