Hanoi
You'll arrive in Hanoi today whenever works for your flight. A Bee GNG driver meets you at the airport and takes you straight to your hotel. After you check in, the rest of the day is open. You can either rest up from travel or start wandering around the city if you're up for it.

Hanoi
Your guide picks you up at 7:30 AM after breakfast at the hotel. You'll head out to see Hanoi's spiritual landmarks, starting with Tran Quoc Pagoda over on West Lake. From there, you move on to Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his stilt house, then check out the One Pillar Pagoda. Lunch happens at a local restaurant in the Old Quarter. The afternoon splits depending on what day of the week it is. If it's Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, or Sunday, you'll go to the Temple of Literature. Any other day, you head to Bat Trang to see the traditional ceramics village. Either way, you'll spend time at Hoan Kiem Lake and visit Ngoc Son Temple before wandering through the Old Quarter on your own.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
Your guide picks you up early between 8:10 and 8:30 AM for the drive to Halong Bay. After a quick 20-minute break, you reach Tuan Chau Harbor around noon and board the Sunlight Legend cruise. Once you check into your cabin, lunch is served while the ship cruises past those famous limestone rock formations. In the afternoon, you explore Sung Sot Cave, then head over to Titop Island to swim and climb up for views from the peak. Back on the ship, you'll have sunset cocktails and take a cooking class making fresh spring rolls. Dinner's onboard, and there's optional karaoke and fishing if you're interested. You stay overnight on the cruise.

- Day 4
Halong Bay to Hanoi to Hoi An
The morning starts early at 6:00 AM in the fresh air, with breakfast at 7:30 AM. At 8:30 AM, you take a bamboo boat or kayak to Luon Cave on Bo Hon Island. After checking out, the ship heads back to Tuan Chau Harbour, and lunch is around 11:00 AM. You arrive at the harbor at noon and say goodbye to the crew, then board a bus back to Hanoi, pulling into your Old Quarter hotel around 4:00 PM. Your driver takes you to the airport for a flight to Hoi An. Once you land in Hoi An, you're picked up and transferred to your hotel, then you have the rest of the evening free to explore the ancient town at your own pace.

- Day 5
Hoi An
Today is yours to spend however you like in Hoi An. The town has over 400 tailoring shops if you're interested in custom pieces, with full suits usually ready in a day and smaller items like shoes or bags in about 4 hours. Start early if you want something made. Grab lunch at one of the famous Banh Mi stands, particularly Madam Khanh's place known as the Banh Mi Queen. Spend the afternoon walking through town and checking out the sights. After dark, the Old Town lights up with lanterns and becomes a different place. You can visit the lantern market to see how they're made and pick up souvenirs. There's free traditional theatre on Nguyen Thai Hoc street from 9 to 10 PM with Vietnamese folk dancers and musicians. Before heading back to your hotel, you can light a candle box and set it in the water while making a wish.

Hoi An to My Son to Cam Thanh
Your guide and driver pick you up at 9:00 AM to head to My Son, the ancient ruins of the Champa civilization. You arrive at 10:00 AM and explore the 13th-century ruins with your guide explaining the significance of the towers and monuments. There's a traditional Cham Pa dance performance with local costumes, songs, and traditional instruments. You leave My Son at 12:30 PM and go to a local family's home for lunch. In the afternoon, you take a boat to Cam Thanh eco-village to watch locals fishing using traditional methods on the river. You spend about 45 minutes rowing traditional basket boats through the nipa palm forest. Then you head back to your hotel in Hoi An for the night.

Hoi An/Da Nang to Ba Na Hills to Ho Chi Minh
After breakfast and checking out, your guide and driver meet you between 8:00 and 8:30 AM (or 7:30 AM if starting from Hoi An) to drive to Ba Na Hills. At 9:30 AM, you board a cable car that's won 4 world records. The day includes the Debay Wine Cellar from 1923, Le Jardin D'Amour Flower Garden, and the Golden Bridge with its giant stone hands. You'll also visit Linh Ung Pagoda to see the country's highest Buddhist statue at 27 meters. Lunch and rest time happen at 11:30 AM. At 12:30 PM, you head up Chua Mountain at 1,487 meters to see Linh Chua Linh Tu Temple, explore French Square, and play at Fantasy Park, one of Vietnam's largest indoor amusement parks. At 3:30 PM, you take the cable car back down. Your driver takes you to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City, where you're picked up and transferred to your hotel.

- Day 8
Ho Chi Minh
Your driver picks you up to head to Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground network built over 25 years by Vietnamese fighters. The tunnel system had living rooms, kitchens, hospitals, weapon factories, and command centers that housed about 10,000 people underground for several years. You start with an introductory video, then spend about an hour exploring the tunnels, seeing various mantraps and remains of an American tank plus bomb craters from 500-pound B52 bombs. Lunch is at a restaurant before returning to Saigon around 2:00 PM. In the afternoon, you visit the Notre Dame Cathedral built in the late 1870s by the French, the General Post Office designed by Gustave Eiffel, and the Jade Emperor Temple, one of Vietnam's best Taoist temples with remarkable carved panels. You could also choose the War Museum or Reunification Palace instead. You spend about two hours at Ben Thanh Market, one of Saigon's liveliest spots packed with everything, and check out a lacquer workshop to see traditional Vietnamese craft techniques. Then you head back to your hotel.

Ho Chi Minh to Mekong Delta
Today you escape the city for Ben Tre, the coconut kingdom, just 1.5 hours from Saigon. Your guide picks you up between 8:00 and 8:30 AM. After about 2 hours of driving, you reach the port for a leisurely cruise on the Tien River to see four islets named after mythical Southeast Asian animals: Dragon, Kirin, Tortoise, and Phoenix. You visit a honey bee farm and taste honey tea with lemon plus tropical fruits from the region. If you're adventurous, there's a python farm where you can touch pythons and take photos. At the coconut candy workshop, you learn how candies are made by hand. You relax rowing through a mangrove palm canal while listening to Don Ca Tai Tu folk music, an UNESCO-recognized Intangible Cultural Heritage. A horse-drawn carriage takes you through the village like travelers did in the 19th century. You stop at Vinh Trang Pagoda in My Tho Town, the biggest and oldest ancient pagoda in Southern Vietnam, influenced by both Asian and Western architecture. You return to Saigon around 5:00 PM.

- Day 10
Ho Chi Minh to Phnom Penh
On your final day in Vietnam, you have a healthy breakfast and check out of your hotel. You'll have time to visit local markets and buy souvenirs before heading to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival at the Phnom Penh border, someone meets and greets you, then transfers you to your selected hotel where check-in is at 2:00 PM. After lunch, you take a Phnom Penh city tour visiting the Royal Palace and the beautiful Silver Pagoda in the same compound. Next, you go to Toul Sleng, the Genocide Museum also known as S-21. You stop at Russian Market for souvenir shopping. Dinner and an overnight stay happen in Phnom Penh.

Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
After breakfast at your hotel, you transfer to Siem Reap by express bus or van with no tour guide on this leg. Your driver meets you upon arrival in Siem Reap and transfers you to your selected hotel. After lunch, you visit the handicraft center Artisan D'Angkor. You make a short stop at Wat Thmei to see its unique glass-walled stupa containing the bones of Khmer Rouge victims. The War Memorial Monument comes next, dedicated to those who sacrificed lives in the civil war, along with a small shrine holding two standing Buddhas named Preah Ang Chek and Preah Ang Chorm surrounded by stories of power and indestructibility. Dinner is at a local restaurant, then you head to Night Market and Pub Street to shop and soak in the atmosphere before transferring to your hotel on your own.

- Day 12
Siem Reap
After breakfast, you spend a full day exploring temples in the ancient heartland. You start with Angkor Wat, the world's largest temple and one of the 7 Wonders of the World, with excellent masterpieces of carvings, sculptures, and perfect structure. Lunch comes at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you visit the impressive South Gate of Angkor Thom, then explore Bayon, the second main temple of Cambodia. You continue to Baphoun, an enormous Hindu mountain temple built in the early 11th century. Walking along the Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King comes next. You explore Ta Prom, a Buddhist temple covered by dense tropical forest and famous as the Tomb Raider filming location. Banteay Kdei, a grand Buddhist temple built in the late 12th century, and Sras Srong, a 1,000-year-old man-made lake, follow. You may also catch sunset at Pre Rup Temple. You return to town for a buffet dinner with a traditional Khmer show at a local restaurant.
